EXCERPT

"Destiny doesn't exist. Seriously, it's for losers.", I strummed my guitar playfully and let out a low laugh.

"Really?", he said with interest. I looked up at him, raising an eyebrow as I saw an amused look on his face. "How come?", he moved closer to where I was standing until our shoulders touched. I silently gulped at the sudden contact of our body. Seeing he didn't notice my reaction, I continued.

"W-well." , did I just stuttered? "It's pathetic. People believe in destiny but it betrays them all the time. You know, like when they thought they are destined to be with someone, and then all of a sudden they'll be crying 'cause the one they love left them. And then the cycle repeats. Isnt it just tiring?", I said with a shrug. I tried to act cool and normal because my heart is beating like crazy. What the hell?

"So I am a loser too? And pathetic." With that tone of his, I could tell he was smirking.

"What?", I wanted to turn my head and look at him, but if I would, my forehead will probably brush with his cheek. I couldn't imagine it so I decided not to.

I waited for him to answer but he didn't. Instead, with a sudden move, he carelessly took the guitar from my arms and threw it somewhere. I looked at him, confused, but he just smirked. He grabbed my wrists and held it with both of his hands against the wall, , it hurts. I started to protest but before I could speak, he covered my mouth with his. "Ugh." I forcefully turned my head to avoid his lips. Fortunately, I won.
"What are you---"

"Too bad, baby. I believe in destiny. And I am pretty sure you are destined to be with me."
