Himchan was laying on his bed staring on his ceiling, listening to the ticking of the clock. He was about to fall asleep when he heard a loud thud outside in his living room. Startled, he went out his room with a plastic lamp on his hand. “Who’s there?!” he screamed. He heard giggling then his name. Judging from the voice he immediately thought that it was his best friend (crush), Bang Yongguk. Sighing deeply, he placed the lamp on the floor then went to his best friend. “Are you drunk again?” said Himchan to Yongguk. “*giggle* Heh. Channie being naggy again. Why don’t you ever stop nagging? *pokes cheek* your cheeks is getting softer. Are you eating my ramen again?! I said don’t eat my ramen! Ramen is my only friend. I want ramen. Channie can you make me ramen? Ramen makes me happy. Ramen makes my tummy have butterflies. I want to keep ramen . I want to marry ramen. I love ramen. Oh did I mention that ramen is my only friend? I want ramen. Channie can you make me ram—“ Yongguk blabbered until Himchan said “alright stop Yongguk. And you said I was the naggy one. C’mon let’s take you upstairs”

When they reached Himchan’s room, Himchan cleared his bed then layed Yongguk on his bed. He giggled when he saw Yongguk already fell asleep. He then went to his shelf to get some clothes for Yongguk. “C’mon let’s dress you up” Himchan said while struggling to accompany Yongguk to sit down.

30 MINUTES OF STRUGGLING LATER

Himchan tiredly sat on a chair next to his bed. “How can you be so heavy?!” Himchan said to still sleeping Yongguk. “Alright since you’re occupying the whole bed, I’m gonna sleep outside”. He was about to go outside when Yongguk suddenly pulled his wrist and layed Himchan on himself and wrapped his arms tightly. “Sleep with me Himchan” Yongguk said sleepily. Himchan struggled to get out of his strong grip but to no avail. He inhaled Yongguk’s scent and cherished the moment. He was about to fall asleep when the arms around him tightened and Yongguk whispered with his y and husky “I love you Channie” Himchan’s eyes widened but thought that maybe Yongguk is also drunk in his dreams. Then fell asleep

NEXT MORNING

Himchan woke up when on exact cue Yongguk barged in, towel around his waist, trying to dry his hair and most especially, topless. Himchan looked away trying to hide his now red cheeks. “Oh Himchan you’re awake! I made pancakes outside!” Yongguk said flashing his oh-so-handsome gummy smile. “Pancakes?!” Himchan’s eyes suddenly widened at the word pancakes then ran outside. Yongguk was startled but then giggled.

When he went out, he saw Himchan hogging the plate of pancakes. “Woah woah slow down hot rod! I haven’t eaten yet you know!” Yongguk said while semi-yelling. “Idunkcrffffff!!!” Himchan yelled at Yongguk with bits of saliva covered pancakes coming out. “Ew Himchan! Do you even know the words “table manners” is?!” Yongguk said while flicking out the pancakes off of him. “Hmph!” Himchan said then continued to hog the pancakes. “Can you AT LEAST give me one?” Yongguk said. Himchan stared at him intensely but gave up. So he gave him one. “Thank you” Yongguk said then ate the pancake. After minutes of loud chewing coming from Himchan, Yongguk said “BTW Himchan can you come with me to the park later at 7pm? I want to show you something” Himchan only nodded and hogged the pancakes again.

FAST FORWARD TO TIIIIIIIIIIIME

“HIMCHAN HURRY UUUUUUUUUUUUP. WE’RE GONNA BE LAAAAAAATE” Yongguk screamed. “Alright alright I’m coming I’m coming! Why are we going to the park anyways?” Himchan said, still struggling to wear his shoes. “Like I said! I want to show you something! Now c’mon!” Yongguk said dragging Himchan to his car.

After minutes of teasing each other and laughing they arrived at the park. “Ok! What do you want to show me?” Himchan said. “You have to put this blindfold first.” Yongguk replied. “But how can I see?!” Himchan half yelled. “I’ll guide you! Relax and stop nagging me Himchan” Yongguk giggled.

After minutes of nagging and hard slaps they finally arrived to their destination. “Ok! Take your blindfold off!” Yongguk said to Himchan. Himchan took off his blind fold then his eyes widened. It was beautiful they were inside a heart made of candles and a picnic blanket with bowls of ramen. “Ooooooooooooooooooh Yongguk is confessing to someone. Who is it? Hyosung noona?! Oh I knew you like her!!” Himchan was jumping up and down until Yongguk held him down. “Himchan stop! No it’s not Hyosung noona! I don’t even like her!” he said. “But you’re confessing to someone right?! Ooooooh who is it?!” Himchan said still excited but hurt inside. “You’ll know later. But right now, let’s eat.” They sat down then started to eat. “Seriously Yongguk? Ramen?” Himchan looked at Yongguk in disbelief. “Shut up and just eat.” Yongguk said.

When they were almost done, a band suddenly came preparing their stuff in front of them. “Oooooh and there’s also a band?! Man Yongguk you must really love this person!” Himchan said with his mouth full. Yongguk suddenly stood up. Stood behind the mic stand then said “this song is dedicated to the person whom I love dearly.”

When the song was done Yongguk suddenly kneeled in front of Himchan, who was (of course) surprised. “Yongguk………” “Can you please let me speak first? Then you can say anything you want after” Yongguk said with a pleading voice. Himchan only nodded.

“Himchan. Ever since I’ve met you, I fell in love with you. You know I don’t believe at love at first sight right? But when I met you, my perspective changed. We’ve been friends since 7^th grade and now we’re graduates. When I met you, you were bubbly, noisy and even annoying. And you are until now! But that’s what I love about you. Yes Himchan. Love. I love you. Do you remember my speech last night about ramen? Yes I was acting at that time. Remember the lines “Ramen is my only friend.” Because you are my only friend. I was really really alone in the past then you arrived. “I want ramen. Ramen makes me happy. Ramen makes my tummy have butterflies. I want to keep ramen . I want to marry ramen. I love ramen.” I want you Himchan. You make me happy. You make my tummy have butterflies. I want to keep you Himchan. I want to marry you Himchan…………………..I love you Himchan…. So Himchan can you please be my ramen and cure me from my lovesick?” Yongguk said. Himchan was wide-eyed. He tried to speak but can’t. When he finally found the words he said “Yongguk……..that was the cheesiest speech you’ve ever had.” Yongguk giggled “I know.” Himchan helped Yongguk to stand up then asked Yongguk for a hug. Yongguk’s heart dropped. Feeling the rejection he’s gonna receive from the man. When they pulled away, Himchan cupped Yongguk’s face then said “I’ll be your ramen” then kissed Yongguk softly. Yongguk was surprised but responded. It was sweet and passionate. Seconds after they pulled away, Yongguk smiling that famous gummy smile. “C’mon let’s go home”

While walking to Yongguk’s car, Himchan said to his new boyfriend “But wait. Ramen is a food. Food is meant for eating!” “Why? Do you want me to eat you?” Yongguk smirked. Himchan smacked Yongguk then ran to the car screaming “eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeert!” Yongguk just giggled and watched his cute boyfriend looking like a dumb person. “I love you Kim Himchan” Yongguk said to himself then tried to chase his boyfriend.
