Tuesday Part 2

Five Year Reunion

“Do any of you actually know how to handle cookware?”

The group of boys just stared silently at the smaller boy who now had an apron wrapped around his small waist as he was starting to think of something nice to make everyone. But his problem was that he hoped that he wasn’t the only one who actually knew how to handle utensils. Cooking for two was enough for him, so cooking for ten people wasn’t going to be easy.  He needed at the very least one more set of hands.

“O…kay. Does anybody know how to chop up vegetables?”

Again some silence erupted in the room.

This was hopeless. Wasn’t there a hire-a-chef company or something? Where he could call up a number and magically a chef would appear to help him? He didn’t even have to be that good, but being able to do the basics was something Kyungsoo could do with.

Because if these boys didn’t even know how to cut up an onion or a carrot... this situation was very much hopeless. Didn’t they ever pay attention to their Home Economics classes in school?

Sighing, the man hoped up on the counter and looked at the blinking boys in front of him, helplessly staring at him like he was speaking some ancient or dead language.

“Can anyone cook rice?... If somebody doesn’t say yes you guys are going to have to explain to the others why there isn’t any dinner tonight and why we are going to have to live on cheap and nasty noodles.”

Shifting a little, one of the boys eventually raised their hand in the air like they were back in school or something.

“I can handle a rice cooker.”

Kyungsoo’s eyes landed on Joonmyun’s raised hand and he smiled a little. Maybe he could have a little intern for the day.

“Great! So, everybody else please vacate my kitchen because you’re already polluting it with your no cooking skills brains an Joonmyun go over there and put on an apron so you are a least a little hygienic. Chop chop everybody!”

Everybody followed the older boy’s orders; they were too scared of the little evil eyed man to do the opposite anyways. Chanyeol, Jongdae and Kris all backed up to the entrance of the kitchen and with one swift turn they bolted out of the kitchen and left Joonmyun to deal with Kyungsoo and the task of making dinner.

Joonmyun had to admit he was a little bit wary of the other boy but who knows maybe this would be a… ‘fun’ experience.

Kyungsoo grinned at Joonmyun, his eyes widening.

“Awesome! Let’s start!”

***************************************************************************************************************

“Hi, Sehun.”

Luhan’s heart beat was racing fast and he couldn’t help but blatantly stare at the boy in front of him. He never imagined that he would ever see this man again, especially not at a holiday resort where all of his old friends met up again.

The boy’s eyes were still dark but there was something gin them that Luhan had never noticed, it was sort of calming, warm.

Sehun was fidgeting with his hands and he couldn’t help but hop from one foot to the next as Luhan found it completely adorable, he hadn’t seen someone this nervous in front of him in a long time. The last time was when he and Jongdae were at graduation and the other confessed to him outside. It made Luhan smile sadly.

“I can’t believe it’s you. Uhm, what are you doing here?”

Sehun’s voice was deeper, shaky as he stared at Luhan.

The blonde laughed.

“Just a little vacation with the old gang you know? Just decided to go a little walk about myself before heading back, which I really should be do-…”

Luhan was stopped mid-sentence when Sehun walked towards him and he was suddenly enveloped in a tight embrace. Hi face was pressed firmly against Sehun’s chest and suddenly the new scent flared his nostrils.

It was strong, a dark fruit aroma.

For an odd reason he smelled like .

At this thought Luhan gained his brain back and pushed his hands against the others chest so he was quite a bit away from him. His heart was beating way too quickly and he didn’t like the thoughts that were being created in his head. He was too out of it. The blond was alone and defenceless like this. He couldn’t let Sehun see that.

Sehun had his eyebrows furrowed as he watched the other breathing erratically. Why did he hug him? It was totally inappropriate but Sehun couldn’t help himself. Seeing Luhan now in his mid-twenties just made his mind turn into jelly and he needed to have a little contact with him, even just a hug.

“I’m sorry Luhan. That wasn’t right. It was really nice seeing you again though, I hope you’re doing good Lu.”

Sehun turned his back and started to saunter away. He didn’t want to do anything else that was completely idiotic.

Luhan on the other hand felt like his stomach had just collapsed as he watched the other walk away from him. The younger’s back was slouched and he looked like a kicked puppy. Luhan could even tell that the other one was a little bit too close to whimpering.

Could he just leave it like that?

That was the right thing to do right?

This boy had hurt him and did some unexplainable and possibly unforgivable. But… that was 5 years ago. They had all grew up in the time period. They weren’t kids anymore, they didn’t go to house parties or hang around their parents houses while they drunk juice and watched anime. They had all grew up. Had their own houses, had jobs, even finished University.

Isn’t there a moment in time where everything from school had to be forgiven?

Watching Sehun walk away like that was one of the most painful moments the blond had ever experienced and he didn’t know why. He shouldn’t even be really feeling anything. But his brain is possibly telling him to grow up and forgive.

“Sehun, wait!”

The younger stopped in his tracks and turned around his face looking surprised. He watched as his elder started to jog up to him and his wildest dream happened right in front of him.

Sehun’s lips were as soft as they looked and the fit in perfectly with Luhan’s. There was no tongue, there was not saliva running all over the place. Just a simple kiss that felt like it was a million times better than it should be. Luhan placed his arms around the taller’s neck and pulled him even closer, their bodies rubbing up against each other. Slowly Sehun also wrapped his arms around the others waist, their kiss was going deeper, and when it was over bruising was definitely going to occur.

The kisses that they had shared when they were younger were nothing like this. It was completely natural, nobody needed to think of the next step. Nobody was forcing this on anybody else. It was all completely perfect.

They didn’t know what time had passed but as they felt the need to actually breathe in air they parted and stared into each other’s eyes which were glazed over. They were silent for a while, neither knowing really what to say at this interesting occurrence.

“I’m sorry, I-I shouldn’t have…”

Luhan started to frantically look around. Making sure that no one was peeking behind a tree and had actually witnessed what he had just done. He shouldn’t have, but he had no control over his body in those last few moments. What would he have done if Jongdae had seen that? He wouldn’t be able to take it. Cheating is the last thing that Luhan would ever suspect he himself would do. But he did. He cheated on Jongdae…

The blonde’s thoughts were interrupting with Sehun wrapping himself around him again and once again their lips mashing together. Why did it feel so good? Jongdae was erased from his mind and he pushed Sehun backwards so his back hit off the bark of a tree and he could press up against him all he wanted. He needed to feel the heat.

This time tongue was introduced and Luhan took the others muscles between his lips and started to slowly but harshly, wanting to taste all of Sehun’s mouth. There was nothing else in the world except for the both of them at that moment.

********************************************************************************************************

He gasped as he looked at the scene in front of him.

For starts he hadn’t been intentionally eavesdropping or spying on him, it was pure coincidence that he happened to come across this as the group had split up. But he guessed he found him at least.

The boy held his hand in front of his mouth to stop any noises from coming out as he didn’t want the two in front of him to know that he was there. He didn’t know what to do. Confront them or walk away and hide the secret for the rest of the trip because it really wasn’t any of his business was it? He didn’t want to ruin a relationship just because he stumbled onto something he shouldn’t have.

But was it the right thing to do?

Baekhyun tumbled back a little as he watched Luhan and for some reason Sehun make out against a tree. Luhan had said that Jongdae was the love of his life. If that was true this definitely wouldn’t be happening.

Did he know Luhan as much as he thought he did?

Baekhyun watched as the two parted, their chests heaving up and down and Sehun was smiling a little down at Luhan, the latter looking a little bit distressed after the kiss was finally finished. They started to talk to each other but the boy was too far away to actually hear their voices. But their movements suggest  little bit of an argument.

The small boy didn’t want to see anymore, he started to back away from the scene his eyes finally ripping away from what he saw.

Baekhyun followed all the signs that had been posted around the forest grounds to find his way back to the cabin so he could talk to Chanyeol. He couldn’t keep this in to himself, he need to tell somebody and his husband was definitely number one on that list. Chanyeol might be a little… loud and indiscreet at times but with matters like this he could trust him.

Finally getting to his temporary home he entered and saw three big lugs sitting on the couch playing Mortal Kombat. Where they actually found a PlayStation he’ll never know but of course those three would find it.

Sneaking around to the back of the couch he slowly came up to Chanyeol’s back and raised his hands into position so he could try and scare the big lug.

Baekhyun brought down his arms and shouted a ‘hello’ very loudly in his husbands ear and giggled frantically as his baby shot up from his seat and let out a very manly scream.

“Hahaha! Oh Chanyeol you making my day brighter with your little girly scream!”

A glare was shot his way and the way his chest was moving rapidly up and down made the smaller laugh even louder. He could tell that Chanyeol was trying not to smile at Baekhyun’s loud giggling and was trying to keep his ‘manly’ posture.

“Sorry poodle, come here I wanna talk to you anyways.”

Baekhyun eventually convinced Chanyeol to him upstairs after a promise to continue what they had started yesterday morning at some point. Like Baekhyun would really say no to that kind of invitation… he was dying to get together with Chanyeol on holiday like a real couple, that was what this holiday was supposed to be about but that doesn’t matter. He enjoyed that everybody was here.

What he didn’t enjoy though was the talk that he was about to have.

He didn’t know how Chanyeol was going to react considering that Jongdae was one of his oldest friends and he knew Luhan but he was a latecomer just like Baekhyun was. It was obvious whose side he was going to be on and that he was probably going to tell Baekhyun to bring it up.

“So… what’s up? What happened on your walk?”

Chanyeol.

He always knew.

Baekhyun sat down on their shared bed and patted the space beside him so the tall man would sit next to him.

“Luhan is cheating on Jongdae.”

No words were spoken for a few moments after Baekhyun jutted the sentence out. He thought he would have to pick up the courage to say it but now he’s waiting for Chan’s reaction.

Still nothing.

The silence was killing him. He heard that the front door down the stairs had opened and realised that the others must’ve just came back from their walk, either with Luhan in tow or just themselves. He hoped it was the former.

“Who with?”

Baekhyun’s head span around into the direction of his husband as that deep voice finally penetrated the silence.

“Sehun.”

The name made the atmosphere worse and as soon as Chanyeol heard it he shot up from the bed and stared down at the other, disbelief clearly residing on his face.

“Sehun? As in, the punk I beat up in school because he ing abused Luhan?!”

The other could only nod. The anger was justified. He just didn’t know what to do know. How does the both of them not ruin the whole holiday?

“I gotta tell Jongdae!"

Baekhyun stood up quickly and stood in front of his other half.

“No! Chanyeol we can’t. Can you imagine what would happen if we went down the stairs right now and told him that? We would be tearing both of their lives apart! Also don’t you think it’s a bit unfair to the rest of them too? I think maybe we should just sit this out, for now at least. We can’t interfere, I don’t think it’s our place.”

The taller sighed and ran his hands through his short hair. Baekhyun was right, he could just run down and play the blame game. It’s been too long.

“Okay. But, we need to tell Jongdae before he leaves. It isn’t right. This isn’t right. He’s only young he doesn’t deserve this.”

Baekhyun nodded. That’s all he could really do.

Both of them hugged a little, calming themselves down in each other’s embrace and decided to head down the stairs to greet the others that had just came in.

Luhan was there with them, sitting down on the couch next to Yixing and Tao. The others were probably in kitchen helping out with dinner… or annoying Kyungsoo probably.

**********************************************************************************************

An hour passed and dinner had been served, considering Kyungsoo was really the only one who could actually cook in that little group it was a massive meal and completely delicious. They all sat around the table, laughing and throwing things just like little kids in nursery, it made everyone feel happy. A couple bottles of wine were even opened so everybody could have a little drink.

Yixing however completely restricted Joonmyun from drinking any of it though.

“What’s up with that?”

Chanyeol shouted over the loud chattering and forks clinking off plates. Yixing discouraging somebody to drink was certainly a sight that the man never thought he would ever see. It was way too weird.

Yixing laughed and took a particularly large gulp of his rosé wine as he eyed Joonmyun then went back to the stare off with Chanyeol. his lips he straightened up as if he was going to give a speech. Yixing always liked the attention.

“Well, I discovered that my husband can’t take alcohol on our 4th date actually.”

As the man beside Yixing realised what story he was about to tell his cheeks heated up to a quite rare red colour and all everyone around him could do was laugh.  Yixing patted Joonmyun’s back and the latter could only glare as he kept his mouth shut. He knew there was no point in arguing with Yixing because it wouldn’t get anywhere and he would only try to embarrass him even more.

“We went to this fancy restaurant you know? Joonmyun wanted to show off his money a little since I had been flashing mine the last three times we had went out. So he decided to buy the most expensive wine on the menu and it came in this ing glass container and everything, it was quite impressive.”

Yixing winked at his lover and grabbed his hand grinning as he pretended to look into the distance, pissing Joonmyun off who pulled his hand away harshly and pouted. Paying no mind Yixing continued as everyone looked in anticipation with grins on their faces.

“So we each had a glass of this beautiful dark red wine while eating our medium rare steaks and as my partner and I finish our first glass the waiter pulls up to pour another. I didn’t notice Joonmyun looking or acting funny until half way through the second glass… but I was too late. Before we even finished our dessert Joonmyun had crawled up onto the table to give me a little ‘show’.”

Gasps were heard and a loud bumping noise vibrated through the room as Joonmyun harshly placed his head on the table not being able to look at anybody.

“So while myself and the waiter try to coax him down he decides that he’s way too warm and starts to strip the gorgeous white shirt he had so graciously wore for me that night. His belt soon followed afterwards and after I finally got him down and try to get him to leave he rounds up the wines at the other guests table and proceeded to chug them down one by one. By this time security had gotten called and we got escorted out. And then as a lovely ending he decides to throw up all over the taxi we were driving home in, proceeding to get us kicked out in the middle of the motorway.”

Wow.

Joonmyun sighed and there was a minute silence before the whole table burst out laughing. Thus the story started a whole book of embarrassing tales throughout the night and that plus alcohol made the night fantastic.

The clock had well passed 9pm and the ‘party’ was still going until there was a knock at their cabin door.

Considering that all the gang was actually inside the house there really couldn’t be anybody at the door unless it was a cabin ranger but he would probably call first before intruding the place at 9 o’clock at night.

Chanyeol decided to be the nicest one out of the lot (plus the most sober, well except for Joonmyun) and get up to actually go and get the door. The person at the door was the last person that he would ever think to see in his life.
