Lu Han has been lonely for a long time. Having been alienated all his life for his interests in the sciences, he finally decided to throw himself into his work rather than deal with the cruelties of a socialistic life. However, when he comes across an unidentifiable case filled with mystery, fatal circumstances, and a technology quite a bit more advanced than their current modern civilization, he decides to take this patient into his hands as his own offspring, never understanding what is going on inside young Kaitou's head.

Foreword
This fanfic was inspired by the game BEYOND. You'll notice several elements that are familiar to it, but as I've never played it before, and have only watched gameplay, I'll more than likely get a few things wrong. However, that's what goes on when you create your own world based upon one that already exists, so I hope that even at the end you'll enjoy it.

EDIT: I'm sorry, guys, I forgot to fix this. This is mainly between EXO and a male OC (in my opinion, that means other character). If you don't like that... I'm sorry. That was how the original story went.
