You were with the one and only Mark Tuan. He loved you deeply, so much that whenever he saw you, he would see fireworks exploding continuously in the background and you would stand out from the pretty colours. You were the only girl he looked at and no one else. And you? You couldn’t lie to yourself, you loved him equally as he loved you.

The way he looked at you, smile at you, stare deeply into your eyes made your heart flutter. Whenever he held your hand, you would gasp just like the first day you met him, eventually gripping your hand to his. You felt so….. So much happiness whenever you were with him but something felt uneasy. Was it the fact that he was a celebrity and you were no more than…. Well… A fan that he stumbled upon and loved so much.

"Shall we go to our favourite bubble tea shop?" Mark asked with a smile.
“Sure” You replied, returning a smile back.
“Waaaaah it’s such a beautiful day. You know, once we finish our bubble tea, we can go to that theme park that you once was talking about. As it’s sunny, why not go to it right? Right ______?”

You were completely lost in thought that you forgot about Mark completely. 
“Hey _____, is everything ok?
“Hmm? Yes of course why wouldn’t I be ok?”
Mark chuckled how cute you looked when you looked lost. 
Mark and you reached up to a beautiful tree, the sunlight hitting the branches and it’s leaves, covering them from above and causing shadows on your face and his.
As Mark turned his head slowly to see you, his heartbeat quickened, your hair, your soft, lush hair blowing in the wind and your lips looked so plumb he could have swore that he was slowly leaning towards them. Despite his cool image, he tripped over himself.

"Mark, are you ok?" You said worriedly
“I’m fine, don’t worry” laughing nervously and correcting his jacket even though it was perfectly fine. Biting his lips from embarrassment.

Every step you took with him felt like torture. It’s not that you didn’t love him, it was because in every aspect it felt wrong to date him as his status is completely higher than yours. This constant war within yourself caused you to have a headache. Whereas Mark decided to make his mark by kissing you under this tree. He stopped and slightly shoved you towards the tree, having one hand on the trunk and the other dangling. Moving in slowly towards your lips…

Between the time that Mark was thinking wether to kiss you and leaning in towards your lips. Your mind was set on what you were going to do. You couldn’t ruin his future because of this relationship that was drawing him back from his dream. You wanted him to be more successful in Got7 with his other members. To accomplish his goals. You wanted him happy and that’s what you were planning to do. Wasn’t there a saying

‘If you love someone so much, you need to let them go’

Mark leaned closer in and said those three magical words that you always wanted to hear from him.
“..I love you ____”
Your chest heaved up and down to those words. You wanted to shout out the words ‘I love you too’ back to him, to the whole world even! But I lie was needed in order to protect the truth. 
Just as Mark closed the gap between you two….

”..You fool” you whispered, “Do you really think I love you?”
Marks eyes shot wide open and took two steps back, absolutely struck in shock.
“But why.. I don’t under-“
“There’s nothing to understand”
“But I though you loved me!” Mark blurted it out.
“..You’re wrong. I nev-” you tried your best to hold back the tears. “I never loved you.. So you’re wrong”
You saw the hurt and pain in his eyes that you caused him.
“I hate you”

‘I love you’

“Since the first day I met you, when you fell in love with me helplessly, I had nothing to return to you”

‘I was head over heals with you’.

“So when I go now, don’t come after me. You’re just going to waste you’re time if you do Mark” ‘

'Hold me in your arms Mark’.

It hurt. It hurt so bad. The pain was unbelievable. As if someone was punching you continuously. You noticed Marks warm, precious tears that fell onto his cheeks. You looked away.
“Goodbye Mark”

That was probably the last time you said his name. 
You walked past him, the tears that you once fought came rushing down all at once. You fastened your pace when you were stopped. Looking down at your arm, mark was clutching your arm tightly, turning around, he looked deeply into yours eyes. His eyes were screaming out ‘Don’t go’ but all he managed to say was..
“You really don’t mean that ____?”
“..I do”
Removing his hand from yours, you walked away.
Leaving Mark with endless tears and a broken heart.
