The wind could be heard outside and the clouds were starting to appear. He was pretty sure it was starting to rain. It was just a matter of time before the water started pouring down and all he could do was grab the black blanket around him a little more as he allowed his head to rest on the couch pillow. He wanted to sleep a little more, he wanted to go to his comfortable bed, hide under the warm covers and sleep for the rest of the day. That was how he wanted to spend his weekend. But no. His roommate ruined his dreams as soon he took him away from his own bed at that ungodly hour so they could greet their guests. And Kyungsoo was an horrible host to begin with!

He was so shy and idiotic because of Kris that when the freaking giant arrived all he did was stand in Jongin’s room and wait for the said tower to come to him.

And where did Jongin fit in all of this? He didn’t. Now he had to wait until either Kris left the apartment, god knows when that would be, or wait until those two decided to move their business to Kris’s apartment. The second option seemed the best for Jongin, but he was pretty sure that wasn’t going to happen, no matter how he prayed.

And because of this whole situation, he was now stuck with Kris’s friend, cousin, whoever he was and the more Jongin looked to Yixing the more he was sure the man was either sleepy or pretty high. He looked completely spaced out, hands on his tights looking to the TV’s black screen with his mouth slightly open.

He could be a beautiful man, that Jongin couldn’t deny, but damn he looked strange. He looked lost and like he was seeing some funky stuff that Jongin couldn’t. “…..dude, are you okay?” Jongin asked as he allowed the blanket to stop covering his face. The said lost man looked at him and gave a small smile. “….yeah.” He said and the way he did was so lazy, so light that Jongin was pretty sure the man smoked some weird things before getting there.

“I like your walls…” Yixing said and Jongin raised a brow. He was pretty sure the man was tripping. “….they are white.” No Sherlock!  “I like white….” Okay, now Jongin was pretty sure something weird was going on and he really couldn’t stay quiet about it. Was really Kris related to a guy like this? Were they related or just friends? Jongin couldn’t really remember what Kyungsoo told him. Usually what the smaller man said would just enter one ear and leave the other even faster. 

“Are you high?” Jongin asked as he made an effort to sit on the couch. He wanted to look better to the man’s face to see if he really was high. Or maybe he was so bored that he just wanted to get out of there at any cost! Who wouldn’t? They were basically being forced to talk to each other because of Kris and Kyungsoo! Thankfully those two lovebirds were being quiet thought Jongin had no idea what the hell they were doing. And he really didn’t want to imagine.

Yixing looked at him with a lost expression that Jongin couldn’t help but think he looked like a lost puppy who just wanted to be held. That was indeed adorable; he couldn’t deny such a fact. “I’m just making conversation…since we have to wait for those two…” Jongin raised a brow. Sure, they could talk while waiting but it still didn’t explain the strange expressions Yixing was making. “….still you look like you had some weird .”

Yixing looked a little offended by those words but instead of complaining about them, he just looked at Jongin’s curious face then gave a small smile. “I space out….a lot. Sometimes more than I should.” He paused for a moment and started playing with the end of his shirt. “I’m always thinking about my dance and how I can improve and because of that I seem to turn off the world. Sometimes I even stop walking in the middle of the street. It just happens…”

Jongin wanted to laugh at the thought of Yixing stopping in the middle of the street just because he thought of a new move for his dance, but he was pretty sure it was a little dangerous. He could get hurt if that happened too often.  “I’m also very forgetful…this morning I forgot my cell phone at home…when I went back to get it I forgot my shoes.” Jongin wanted to ask how in the world someone forgot to leave the house without their shoes, but then he was rudely interrupted by hearing small giggles coming from his room.

God, he couldn’t believe that Kyungsoo was giggling! He was giggling like a 16year old girl who was with her crush and couldn’t control her blushing face and her hormones.  Well, all of it was actually true, except the being a 16year old girl part. 

“So…are you Kris’s friend…how did you too met?” He was pretty sure Kyungsoo told him when he was being rudely wakened up, but he couldn’t remember at all. Actually, all he could remember from that moment was the stupid giggling from the small man. It was probably one of the worst sounds in the whole world, but he couldn’t really say it out loud, especially because Kyungsoo could look small and frail, but Jongin was pretty sure he could kill a man and leave no trace behind.

“Oh actually….Kris is actually my step-brother!” Yixing said as he passed a hand through his hair and Jongin couldn’t help but open his eyes widely. He was sure he heard the wrong thing, but allowed the Chinese man to keep on talking. “His father married my mother after his died. I was 10 and he was 12. He took upon him to take care of me, but we hardly call each other brothers. We’re more like….two friends who live together. I don’t even have his family name.” The Chinese man smiled gently and Jongin didn’t know what to think to be sure, but then again, why in the world would he think about it? Yixing and Kris were step-brothers and that was final. Nothing strange about that.

“Yifan is very protective about the people he loves. He tries to protect everyone and he also thinks it’s his responsibility to prevent the others from being sad.” The way the Chinese man was talking about Kris seemed like a person who admired him very much and had a soft stop for him. “Wait, Kris’s real name is Yifan?” Jongin asked with a smirk on his face. “Oh, yes! He went to Canada for a semester and wanted to look cool, so he changed his name. He only allows his family to call him by his real name.” Jongin couldn’t hide how much this new piece of information pleased him. He was pretty sure not even Kyungsoo knew about this, and this kind of thing could win him many things. Especially a very long weekend with no lover birds around him.

“He’s very protective…we treat each other like friends, but I think a part of him does see me as a little brother. He always interferes in my love life.” This, for some reason started interesting Jongin a lot but thankfully to his current sleepy state it was really easy to hide the curious expression. “Is that so?” He asked and Yixing nodded as he passed a hand through his hair and tried not to look too disappointed. He adored Kris, he really did, but sometimes the older man took care of him like he was a little porcelain doll and was about to break into millions of pieces in seconds if he wasn’t protected. “Yeah…he freaked out when I showed up with Luhan and introduced him as my boyfriend.”
