Simple Blend Tutorial 2

 

StepOne Prepare a Background

You can start of with a 500 px X 700 px canvas.  Colour the background #D2CCC6  

StepTwo Add Sub Character Image

Choose a medium sized image and place it at the top centre. Adjust the image to your liking. Remember to keep the image ratio fixed.  

 

StepThreeAdd Main Character Image

This character image has to be larger than the first one. Blend off the edges and smoothen the blend. You can use an eraser or use the layer mask.  

StepFour Add Other Characters

You can add other characters now. Maximum number is two. These character images have to be smaller than the others.  And place them strategically. Make sure they are close together and not too far from the centre.  

 

StepFive Blend & Adjust

If your characters have different saturation and colour. Use the adjustment to fix it. Make sure you do this step carefully. At the end, the final colouring will effect the finish product, and if your characters are not in the same tone, the final colouring will mess up your blend.  

StepSix Add Stocks

Choose a simple stock and put it at the top part of the graphic. Blend it / Erase the parts that are covering the character's face. And blend away
