The 'emperor' of Imperial Academy's student council and also the highest the ranking overall of council, Gold. Byunghun was raised to be a proper gentleman, but when his parents are away, the young heir is mischievous and causes trouble with the rest of the council. He has a cold exterior towards others and is very rude to some, but in the end, the man can be sweet and caring, especially for Kwon Sohyun. He is known to get whatever he wants and always toys with the hearts of the female students. He is usually with his best friends, Lee Chanhee, Choi Jonghyun, and Bang Minsoo.

Born into the middle class Kwon family, at age ten, Sohyun is adopted into the Yoo family to settle her father's debt of fifty million won. She is very smart and multi-talented which catches a lot of the male student's attention. She focuses on academics instead extracurricular activities. Sohyun thinks that the emperor of their council is just obnoxious and doesn't think about anyone else except himself. She's a very sweet and bubbly girl who puts others before her own needs. Best friends with Ahn Daniel and Kim Hyuna.

Best friend of Lee Byunghun. He's known Byunghun since they were little children. Byunghun owes Chanhee for breaking his violin. Chanhee prefers most of his friends to call him Chunji. He is the heir of Lee family hospital and is ranked silver. Vice president of the student council members and one of Royal Four (R4).

Best friend of Lee Byunghun. He's known Byunghun since they were little children and is the youngest member of the Royal Four (R4). Changjo shares Japanese and Dance class with Sohyun and developed a small crush on her since the first time they met. Heir of Choi Corporation and ranked silver. Member of the student council.

Best friend of Lee Byunghun. He's a troublemaker and can be very rude, yet is a fun and caring guy to others he likes. He is the Heir of Bang Studios and has a passion for rap. He is also a member of the Royal Four (R4.). Martial arts black belt and the usual quiet one of the group. Treasurer of student council and ranked silver.

Best friend of Kwon Sohyun and Kim Hyuna. He is the heir or Ahn Airlines and helped Sohyun when she was being bullied for being a bronze rank in the elementary section of Imperial Academy. He's very sweet and cares for Sohyun like family. Most people misunderstand their friendship and think that the two are in a romantic relationship, which is false.

Kwon Sohyun's little brother. He is the cute type and always clings to his big step-sister even if they're not really related. Heir of the famous five-star restaurant owned by his step-father and is the president of Imperial Academy's middle school student council.
