Misinterpretation of Weather

Description

Shock is only evident to those who remain unexpecting, unknowing, blind to all darkness.

Luhan and Sehun live life in rhythms and routines, with the smallest of changes drastically disrupting their balance.

When a change so large is proposed to take place, neither is ready for its consequences, yet who were they to know it would lead to such?

Even for the meteorologist, Luhan, it is a big misinterpretation of weather.

Foreword

The term 'drastic', 'abrupt', and 'radical' can only be applied similarly in those cases.

It takes hours, years, decades and lifetimes to build up; but only a split-second to snap and rip you apart.

So how can one be expected to forsee it?

Weather doesn't always give you a sign before it causes the earth to crumble beneath you and all the buildings you built and everything you've ever created to come crashing down, annihlating every possibility of your survival. But perhaps it does and predictors of such just don't quite get close enough to see them, for why would someone suspect a stretch of land that lays undisturbed for milleniums to suddenly rake powerful earthquakes that leave scars on the surrounding earth? Such a calm, uneventful land does not get suspicion thrown its way. Which only leads to the shock of several lifetimes when it suddenly snaps. And everyone, let alone the ones that never doubted the land's unhinged composure, will remain rueful for what's left of them. For it is not the land to blame if it has struggled to foreshadow the fickle beings, but the fickle beings' themself.

Message to readers:

I hope you all enjoy the little story with interest.

There are things left in there that are unexplained, but it's all to your interpretation, I'd rather not feed you reasons as to why each event happens because I believe there needs to be freedom to thought.

Let's hope you understand that and have fun with this tale of twisted fates.
