The first time they met was when Kyuhyun’s boss introduced him to the new IT adviser that would join the company for a while to help the employees adjust to the new system they just adapted.

“Kyuhyun-ah! Meet Siwon-ssi, you’ll be working with him on the new software”

The said man politely nodded, a perfect smile on his face which made Kyuhyun stutter as he replied.

“W-Welcome Siwon-ssi. I’m Cho Kyuhyun”

Mentally cursing himself for the ridiculous introduction, Kyuhyun stretched his lips into a faint smile while trying his best to not look straight into the man's piercing eyes.

“Nice to meet you, Kyuhyun-ssi. Let’s work well”

They spent two weeks doing group reunions as Siwon explained everything that needs to be taught, and then it was time for him to spend with each one of the IT team three or four days to supervise their work and see if there was any points left to clarify.

Unfortunately, Kyuhyun’s turn was last.

The young IT counted the minutes for his turn to arrive as he had a special interest in their visitor. He didn't know what it was exactly but he couldn't help but keep an eye on his colleagues and take every chance possible to ask Siwon for help or just ask him some question he was very well aware of its answer already.

Thankfully, when it was finally his turn, Kyuhyun's colleague slash best friend that shared the same cubical as him was out on a mission, and so he could pretend being all cool in front the man because if Changmin was there, he would totally embarrass him.

“So Kyuhyun-ssi, how’s life treating you?”

Kyuhyun’s eyes slightly popped out at the question, not having talked to Siwon about anything else except work before. Not like he didn't want to, because he sure did, but because they never had a chance to be just the two of them before.

“G-good”

Siwon sweetly smiled before turning to face Kyuhyun’s laptop, narrowing his eyes as he inspected what the younger was working on.

Kyuhyun, who was expecting more to that personal conversation, couldn’t help but feel quite disappointed when Siwon turned the subject to yet again work.

“See here, it’s better to check this option so you won’t have any problems later on. See this here as well…”

The first time they met outside the office was when Kyuhyun and his colleagues stepped inside their usual coffee shop and Siwon happened to be there as well, sitting on a table at the corner with his face buried in his laptop and his eyebrows knit in complete focus.

Kyuhyun didn’t know what hit him at that moment as he stood still just staring at him. His friends already settled down on a table while Kyuhyun was contemplating if he should go and say hi. It had already been a little over a month since he met Siwon and although at first he interpreted his interest in the man as a mere professional one, or at least that's what he wanted to believe it was, seeing him outside work totally flipped his thoughts upside down.

It wasn't really helping seeing Siwon wearing casual clothes and letting his hair fall loose on his forehead... Nope, not helping at all.

Snapping out of it, he didn’t realize he was spacing out while staring at the man until their eyes met, and the older was giving him the most mesmerizing smiles ever.

Flushing heavily for being caught staring at Siwon, Kyuhyun awkwardly raised his hand for a short wave before turning around to join his friends, mumbling all kinds of curses at the embarrassing scene.

The first time they spoke outside work was Siwon’s last day at the company when they all went out for drinks as thanks for the man's help.

Kyuhyun couldn’t believe how two months already passed yet he didn’t quite make any progress regarding his indescribable feelings toward Siwon. Kyuhyun wasn’t someone to not accomplish what was on his mind, and nothing had ever stopped him before from going after what he wanted until Siwon came along.

He didn’t know what exactly it was, but no one had ever made him feel that way. He was never excited to go to work before, being a sleep lover, but after Siwon came, he even had sleepless nights waiting impatiently for the morning to come. It was actually quite annoying the way this man made him feel and the silly things he made him do. However, it was undeniable that the little fluttering in his heart whenever his eyes met Siwon’s was extraordinary.

Saying goodbye to the drunken IT team, Siwon turned to the sole person left in the room and smilingly stretched his arm for a handshake.

“It was nice working with you, Kyuhyun-ssi”

The young man stared at him with withered eyes, his mind spinning fast trying to figure out what to do next and how to let this moment last.

Taking Siwon’s hand, he gently shook it while looking at their joined hands and not helping but softly smile, just imagining what it would be like to try different hand holds.

“Likewise”

A simple answer yet it held too much meaning to which Siwon unfortunately didn’t catch on. The man just nodded before turning around to leave.

Kyuhyun bit on his lower lip a little too hard as he started regretting all the things he wanted to say to Siwon but just couldn’t. He stood frozen in place for several seconds self-scolding himself for being a coward.

Not liking the feeling at all, he immediately rushed after Siwon and stopped the elevator door that was about to close.

“Wait!”

There was this huge beam on Siwon’s face that made Kyuhyun utterly speechless.

“I-… It’s your last day, but c-can…”

Kyuhyun couldn’t formulate a proper sentence which made Siwon giggle at how cute he looked all flustered and nervous before deciding to take the initiative.

“I like you. Would you have dinner with me?”

“Yes!”

Kyuhyun abruptly replied, not realizing what he just said until a melodious laugh echoed in his ears and he was pulled inside the elevator, his hand engulfed by Siwon’s.

It took him a couple of minutes to process what just happened but when he did, to say he was happy would be an understatement.

Kyuhyun was overjoyed and very much excited. It had been a while since he felt that way if not ever, and It was like his first high school crush, only this time it felt more mature and from what he understood so far, reciprocated.

“I like you too”

It was a mere whisper yet Siwon heard it loud and clear, causing his smile to reach his ears. Tightening their entwined hands, he pulled Kyuhyun closer making him yelp at the unexpected move yet he soon relaxed when their shoulders comfortably met.

The first time Kyuhyun realized that his heart was in a deep trouble, is when Siwon lifted their joined hands and pressed a tender kiss on his slender fingers, creating a deep rosy blush on his plump cheeks and exploding fireworks in his chest.

The first time Kyuhyun knew he was falling in love  was when Choi Siwon walked him home after the most romantic first date he ever had and kissed him under the moonlight before wishing him good night.

The first time Kyuhyun realized he was already head over heels in love was when Siwon returned from a month long business trip and their eyes finally met after such a long separation.

Standing in the middle of their shared living room, he couldn't help but tear up. Ever since they started dating, he and Siwon became inseparable, doing their best to be with each other no matter how busy their lives were. 

Soon, he was engulfed in his four-months-boyfriend’s embrace, soothing words whispered in his ears as he cried on the man’s chest.

“I-I love y-you”

He muttered between his sobs, hands clutched on the man’s back, not willing to let him go anywhere anytime soon. He had been counting the days for Siwon to return so he could finally tell him how he felt and now that he did, his heart felt lighter.

Siwon gently pulled him away, cupping his lover’s wet cheeks and placing several pecks all over his face before smilingly confessing.

“I missed you… I haven’t stopped thinking about you, and Cho Kyuhyun… I am deeply madly in love with you too”

The first time Kyuhyun knew what love making really is, was when Siwon swooped him off his feet and carried him to their bedroom, showing him just how much he meant every single word of his confession.

The last time Kyuhyun called Siwon his boyfriend, was six months later when the priest pronounced them husband and man for life.
