To Break Me
Description
They say that an ending is really a beginning to a new story, but we just don't know it yet. My story ended a long time ago and nothing new has ever begun. Each page I turn is a blank one, yet still I read on like a fool as if one of the pages will hold something spectacular. And as I turn the page once more, there's but two letters on it.

I'm not going to sit around and wait for my life to begin. Even if it takes all my strength, I'm going to defy my father and defy my life to do something I want to do.
Foreword
I didn't realize that my hands were trembling now. The simple thought of a way out of my father's grasp was so liberating, so beautiful that I felt as if I could fly away. This man, holding out a business card, was my ticket to freedom. By stopping me on these streets that had lost their luster to me so long ago, he had given me a chance to start my own life and do something for myself. With sparkling eyes and, no doubt, a dumb face, I grabbed the card from his grasp.
