Being Understanding
RecklessThe boys and the girls were standing facing each other, "I'm sorry, I didn't know those desks were meaningful to you guys," Yura apologized to them. She then stepped forward, "But since we're letting you keep the desks, then we would be thankful if you can do us a favor," she added. The guys looked at each other. They were a bit hesitant at first but finally gave in, "Okay, what is that you want us to do?" asked Jaehyo. Yura turned around and received a piece of paper.
"Please follow these rules," she said as she handed them a paper.
Hoya read through them and he didn't seem to like it, "Wash our hands, wear our uniforms perfectly, no fighting?!" he said in disbelief. Yura nodded, "Yes, if you follow these rules the whole week, we'll treat you," she said.
The guys looked at each other, they obviously were happy that the girls would treat them with food. They huddled together until they finally decided, "Okay, we'll follow these rules if you guys treat us with a fancy restaurant meal," Hoya said with a smile. This was the first time that the girls seen the guys smile at them.
Yura turned to the girls, "Is this okay with you girls?" she asked them. The girls gladly nodded.
She then turned to Hoya and his friends, "Okay, any restaurant of your choice then, so tomorrow don't come late to school," she smiled and the girls walked out of the classroom. As they walked out, they heard the boys cheers. Yura guessed that they probably didn't have such an expensive meal once in their lives.
"I still find it weird that they begged us, for them to keep the desks," Minah said as she tilted her head.
"Well they did explained to us that those desks were passed on from the seniors that graduated, to us it may look like trash but to them it's something precious," Yura said. The girls stopped walking, "Are you serious Yura, are you siding with them?" asked Naeun.
Yura shook her head, "No it's just I know where they're coming from, remember this?" she held up her phone and her teddy bear charm was hanging, "This was given to me by my mother, my grandmother once threw this away thinking it was just trash but I did my best to find it, and look where I have it now. All I'm saying is that everyone has that one precious thing that you just can't get rid of," she finished off. Jamie nodded in understanding, "I know what you're talking about, this old bow I wear it all the time. I'm sure you noticed," she smiled. The other girls were now being understanding and left the school.
The next morning, the girls were sitting on their desks and noticed that all the guys were surprisingly early that day. Yura turned to Hyuna and smiled. "I guess they want expensive food," said Minah who was sitting behind her.
"Everyone is here, right?" Hoya said as he looked at his side of the classroom where he and his friends sat. They guys shouted a yes. Hoya walked up to Yura's desk and smiled, "We're all here early and look!" he turned himself around, "I'm also wearing my uniform neatly just like you told us to do," Yura just nodded at him.
Hoya headed back to his desk as he high-fived his friends. "I can't wait to eat that delicious food!" V said as he started daydreaming about expensive food. Jamie turned to look at him and secretly smiled at herself.
The day went by with the guys not causing any trouble, that's until they walked out of the school. Another gang from SM High were waiting for them, "So it looks like we got here just in time," said the leader.
"Actually, you guys came at the wrong time," said Hyunseung.
"Yeah, let's do this some other time like Monday after school?" Jaehyo added.
Hoya turned to Jaehyo, "Monday after school? That's no good, that's the time we get to eat delicious food!" he said. Jaehyo stopped for a second and nodded eagerly, "Ah, that's right!"
"Sorry, but this has to wait till Tuesday," Hoya told the SM gang. He patted the leader's shoulder and walked away from them with the others doing the same.
SM gang stood there dumbfounded, "Did they just re-scheduled on us?" the leader asked confused. "I think they did," another member added. They had no choice but to leave the campus.
