Serina stepped out from the airport and out into the cool Vancouver air. She inhaled a deep breath and slowly let it out in the same manner.

"I'm home." Serina said in a soft, happy tone. "It's been so long."

Just as she stepped out in the open with her luggage, it started to rain.

"Great." Serina huffed. "Winter rain."

She shuffled backwards to get out of the downpour and looked up at the cloudy grey sky with a disdainful look.
