Six Years Later
Hearts, Stars, and Cranes [hiatus]Serina stepped out from the airport and out into the cool Vancouver air. She inhaled a deep breath and slowly let it out in the same manner.
"I'm home." Serina said in a soft, happy tone. "It's been so long."
Just as she stepped out in the open with her luggage, it started to rain.
"Great." Serina huffed. "Winter rain."
She shuffled backwards to get out of the downpour and looked up at the cloudy grey sky with a disdainful look.
"Thanks for the welcome back, Canada." Serina remarked sarcastically. "Where is that stupid brother of mine, anyways."
Serina looked left and right, but saw no one familiar except the bustling of other citizens braving the rain or escaping it.
"F-ing Matt. Always late." She complained.
She let out a puff of air in annoyance and decided to turn around and go back into the airport and wait for him there. Just as she swiveled around, she ran smack into something, more like someone.
"Oof!" They both exclaimed as Serina stumbled back and fell, while the other person stumble a bit but kept steady.
"Owwie." Serina whined softly like a little kid as she slowly stood back up.
The other person gave her a hard gaze waiting for an apology. Serina righted herself, and faced what she had ran into. As her eyes landed on the person, her eyes widened in awed. He was a drop-dead gorgeous man. Although his face seemed a bit fluffy and not as manly, but there was no denying how f-ing hot he was. The man coughed to snap
