Another day to live my life in Seoul. Cold winter’s wind is blowing right inside my room as soon as I opened the sliding windows. The curtain flashes its silkiness fabricate on my cheeks and I suddenly remembered, “oh yeah, I am seeing someone that’s making me anxious later on”

I picked my best pink frost coat, kind of cloak look-alike, damn I look like a red riding hood in pink. After completing my look with a pair of furry brown snow boots and a white beanie, I am all set to meet him.

I called Jones to pick me up right infront of the hotel and send me to Namsangol Ice carving festival. “You are going there again, my lady?” Jones asked in an anxious way.

“Yes, someone called me to meet up at the festival last night. I wonder how. I am so curious. Hes been calling for a hundred of times and now I get to finally know who he is!”

I sounded enthusiastic, I thought. Am I? Whatever. Its not like I will end up meeting with my ultimate bias in Winner.

“My lady, I swear as soon as you meet him, you will think that you are the most luckiest girl on Earth, ever!”

“Aw, really? By any chance, do you happen to know who am I meeting with?”

Jones ignored my question and stayed quiet until we reach the destination.

“Takecare, my lady! Hope you will have a great time!”

Oh, finally he said a few words.

As I entered the entrance to Namsangol Ice carving festival, I looked around my surroundings, making sure if ‘the mysterious guy’ is here somewhere, but theres no sign of a human being that’s going to approach me nor staring at me. Anyhow, I still see a lot of couples lining up infront of the ice carving booth. Seriously, what makes ice carving so special to lovers?

15 minutes has passed and theres still no signs of someone who tried to approach me. “Well, if it goes on like this, I guess I’ll have to leave this place and explore somewhere else then”

When I was trying to find the exit, I saw a beautiful snow walkway on my left. I haven’t explored this place before so I am thinking to learn the significance of this place.

I walked leisurely along the beautiful snow path. Its not only covered with a thick snow on its path but also falling pink petals too.

I walked and walked again until I have forgotten about my meeting with someone. I actually don’t bother about him even if he didn’t turn up. I have this magnificent view of the snow pathway to admire.

The moment when I was about to take another step while looking down at the fallen petals, a black snow boots obstructs me from taking another step. As I look up and was about to say, “excuse me”, I failed.

I cannot believe about what I am seeing right now and about who is here alone with me. Is this truly real or it is just an illusion?

“Angela”

Is this the guy that have been calling me without a notice and without even telling his name? When does his voice turned this soft?

“K…..K……Kang…….Seung Yoon?”

I stuttered his name as I looked up. His flawless complexion and sweet smile….ah, I am lying if I say that I am not starstrucked.

“I finally get to see you for real”

“Errrrrrrrr, yes. I finally get to meet you in person too. I never thought that something like this is happening to me”

Kang Seung Yoon leans his face infront of me and smile, again. I leaped my face quickly to the back as he did that.

“You think that you are dreaming? Hah! This is real! You are seeing Winner’s Kang Seung Yoon in person!” he pinched my cheeks after he said that.

Okay now that I am realized that I am not dreaming, I need to control my excited hormones.

“Any……way…..how do you know me? How do you even contacted me at the first place?”

“Ah, you wanna know? It’s a pretty long story. I will be storytelling you when we got the time, okay? Now lets go to back to the festival and carve our names!”

“Serious…..ly? But how about the citizens? You are a celebrity. You will be followed or grabbed or something”

“Awwwww, my darling Angel is worried about me? How cute! Its not a big deal. I am sure that many people have already left the place. Besides, its time for dinner already”

I agreed to walk back to the festival without saying a word. I am still flustered.

We arrived back at the festival, together. The crowd is getting lesser than before. Well, it is because most people are going back home from dinner. Some of the people are staring at us. Some dropped their jaws. I felt a bit proud inside. This is such an unexpected experience.

The thing that I noticed when walking back with Kang Seung Yoon is that he smiled all the way from the snow walk. I kept on snatching glances at him when he didn’t even stare at me.

“Theres the ice carving booth! Lets go!”

I wonder what makes him so excited to do ice carving, and with me? Thats nonsense.

We both went straight to the booth and request to carve our names suddenly….

“Lets carve our names on a heart shaped ice. Shall we?”

Wha? Seriously, Kang Seung Yoon? Are we inlove? Does he have feelings for me? That’s impossible.

“the……heart…..shape? why go with the heart?”

“why? Is something wrong with the heart?”

“errrrr, not really. Okay, lets go with that then”

As we are about to carve our names onto the ice, it took me awhile to carve, because simply and obviously, I am still nervous inside.

“Whats wrong?Is it uncomfortable being with me?

I feel sorry for Kang Seung Yoon who said that.

“No…..its not that. Its just…..this is so unexpected”

“Hey, do not worry alright. Everythings going to be fine. Now lets just finish our carvings, okay?”

We both finally started with our carvings. Kang Seung Yoon goes first. After he completed carving his name and when I was about to carve my name, Kang Seung Yoon offered to just let him carve my name.

He carved “Angel” beautifully below the fascinating name “Kang Seung Yoon” I am thankful that he wanted to carve my name for me when I didn’t even ask to.

Suddenly I saw him tracing a heart shape between our names. A heart? But, why? I am too shy and nervous to ask so I am just letting it be. But it keeps me wondering.

“There! All done! What do you think?”

“Well….it is nice. Thank you~”

“Good to know that you like it! Now that we are done, how bout I walk you back to your hotel. Its not far from here right?”

Hmmm? How does he knows where I checked in?

We walked along the streets of Seoul, together. I am feeling some kind of uncomfortable of people from the other side of the street staring at us. But it feels great at the same time.

Reaching Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel, the hotel which I stayed in. The hotel stands out Seoul with its stunning view. I feel like I don’t want to be apart from him yet. Out of the blues, he said, “theres a slope of a mountain beside this hotel. Lets lay down on that hill and gaze at the stars above”

I just nodded and kept on following him without saying a word. When will I open my mouth to him? When will I stop being nervous from head to toe?

We reached the hill and Kang Seung Yoon finally lay down.

“Hey, don’t be nervous. Come on, lay down beside me and gaze at the beautiful moonlight with me”

I listened to what he said and lay down slowly, still feeling uncomfortable.

“Angela” he said in his soft voice again.

“y….yes?”

“I think the stars above our heads are shining no brighter than you”

Huh? Is he sweet talking me?

“oh….thank you. You shine bright too”

“haha! Aw, really? Thanks! Its good being complimented!”

“Angel”

There he said in his soft voice again.

“How bout we have a chat in your room right after this?”

My body starts feeling a hundred times more nervious.

“hmm? Why?”

“you wanna know how I know you right? So lets talk about it. I will simply tell you everything that I know about you”

Woaw, this charming prince is creeping me out. He knows me? But since when?

We exhale our last breaths at the hill. Now I am in an awe of the hotel’s stunning view around me, which includes Kang Seung Yoon. He is far more stunning than anything.

I am feeling anxious as we walked back to my room. What does this guy wants to tell in my room? Is it a really top secret?

I swiped my room card and entered the room together with Kang Seung Yoon. Now it feels infinitely uncomfortable with a guy in my room. But he makes it feels like home.

I let Kang Seung Yoon to sit down on one of the two chairs inside. We are literally facing each other, not far from a half meter.

Kang Seung Yoon takes a deep inhale.

“Are you curious about this?”

“Y….yes. I want to know, seriously”

“Okay, lets begin with a hug”
