Story Introduction:

 

Artoo and PMG were your typical international K-Pop fans: they had no money to buy merchandise, no money to go to concerts and super strict Indian parents. But that didn't stop them from dreaming big! And these dreams were what made up their numerous fanfictions and were loved by many. They just didn't realize it wasn't only fellow fans that loved their work...

 

 

 

Character descriptions:

 

Artoo - a nickname for the Indian name "Arthi," this bubbly 9th grader is one the shortest people you'll ever meet -- and the sassiest. Not afraid to voice her strong opinions, this girl wants to one day grow up to be a journalist and make it big in the New York City scene. She looks like your typical Indian girl with short, black hair and dark brown eyes. She got into K-Pop back in 2012 when 'Gangnam Style' came out and since then hasn't been able to shake the addiction. Although she's not into it as much as she once was, her bias will forever remain SHINee's Jonghyun. 

 

PMG - PMG. What a strange name, right? Well, the meaning of it is far stranger: It stands for 'Pink Machine Gun.' Who is she, you ask, and why is this her name? She gained this nickname in 5th grade when she brought in a pink lunch box that conveniently looked like a machine gun! Besides the weird nickname, she's pretty normal -- unless you count her obsessive personality as 'normal.' Growing up in an household with Indian grandparents, she is conditioned to watch Bollywood movies and shows and listen to Bollywood music. As far appearances go, she is also like a typical Indian girl -- except she is only half Indian. She's still undecided on her future but has a few ideas in mind. She was first introduced to K-Pop when she conincidentally was sitting in the bleachers above her Korean/Chinese friends while they were watching 'Boyfriend' by Boyfriend. She didn't give much thought it however she still liked the few songs she had listened to: 2NE1's 'Go Away' and  Taeyang's 'Wedding Dress.' Fast forward to early 2013 when Artoo sent her a email containing the link to BIGBANG'S 'Fantastic Baby.' She watched it and immediately fell in love with T.O.P, her ultimate bias.
