Foreword

So I begged Nichole to write me a 2min mermaid AU fic, and being the awesome friend she is, she did. And it's great so you should definitely go read it after this. You'll see a few small similarities, seeing as we discuss our fics with each other a lot, so don't be too surprised.

Sidenote: I don't have an exact timeline this is set in, but let's just go with early 1900s

Chapter 2: I have never ever felt so much emotion. I was crying out of happiness when they fell in love and by heart absolutely shattered. I was clinging to hope that they would be okay but it hit me and I have never felt so much dispare. youe writing is utterly beautiful and had me hooked from the start, but now I'm still sobbing and can't stop. I wish I read the angst tag 😭😭 but this is gorgeous and a work of art.
