Description
Ten years ago, he was an angry teen when his sister left her eight-year-old son in his care. As time passed, he had grown to love the little giggling toddler. He was proud and happy when the little toddler had grown into a fine young teen. The jet black had grown into a smart and fun-loving kid who loved pulling pranks on others whenever he had the chance to. They lived a happy and decent life to say the least.
However when whenever night fell, the uncle's heart would always get stung by a wave of sadness as he saw a familiar figure, sitting by the stairs leaning against the railings, looking longingly at the front door. How he wished to make his nephew's heart whole again.
Foreword
"Morning, kid" he said as he settled himself next to the pouty nephew. The 8-year-old only blinks before he smiled at the older male.
"Morning, uncle!" The blonde smiled and he ruffled the kid's head affectionately.
"Uncle, did you see mommy?" This stopped him from his previous activity. It just seemed like he just had to tell the kid.
"Hey kid, your mom is out of town for business but hey, she'll be back with a blink of an eye
" The blonde said, while he playfully pulled on the kid’s nose as he tried to distract him from crying for his mother. He was glad when the kid guffawed into a jumble of giggles as he rubbed his nose with his two small palms.
"Okay then! She'll be back in a blink of eye, right?" The kid looked up to the blonde. The blonde smiled bitterly as he pulled the kid on onto his lap and hug hugged him close.
"Yeah she will."
But i don't know when.
