Dear Diary,

Today is the first day of  being a senior in high school. To be truthful, I'm so nervous. I don't know what to expect. Of course I am excited, but then you have to think about college and what career your going to take on and then after that. High school has been a roller coaster, I can't believe it's a new year...but then it is also the last year. Though I have no idea where I am going to go and what I am going to do, I know my destiny is somewhere out there waiting for me to arrive any time now. Everyone always wonders if they are good enough or if they aren't good enough. But there is a place for everyone, and everything. What I am mostly looking forward to is romance. I want to find that special someone that when he smiles, I smile. I want him to be my best friend too. I do have high expectations, but I know there is a guy out there that will except me for me. Okay, it's time to go get ready for my big day. I can tell, this year is going to be a year, I will never forget.
