Description

Prologue:

“Mao, we’re finally graduating! Isn’t that great?” I squealed, feeling my adrenaline rush inside me, making me feel the urge to start running around until I collapsed. This is finally it, the moment of truth. After this, we’ll choose our own paths and we’ll just have to see what fate has in store for us in the future.

“Yah, I guess. But right now, I don’t feel so great at all.” Mao said. I could sense her nervousness as she squeezed my hand tightly before letting go; only her sweat was left on me. Even after so many years, the one thing that didn’t change in Mao was her nervousness, especially whenever it comes to this kind of events.

Right when the graduation song started to play, everyone quickly lined up before proceeding inside. Feeling the entire gaze on me as I walked down the aisle, I didn’t feel nervous at all. Instead, I felt happy! Happy to finally choose my own way into the world, happy for all the support that my family gave me, and happy for all the memories that I had with my classmates, especially my friends. Memories, that word hit me as I started to reminisce all those times Mao, Sora, and I’ve been through. And Sora? God I miss her so much! Knowing that she had to move back to Korea was devastating. As I was recalling my memories, I noticed that my eyes became teary. Embarrassed, I quickly wiped off my tears before anyone could notice it. And if they did, they would’ve just thought that it was tears of joy.

After our ceremony has finally ended, I got my phone, only to see that Sora messaged me internationally! It seemed urgent. Rushing to open her text, my eyes widen when I found out that she was finally going to audition in the SM Town! As excitement filled me, I ran to Mao and showed her Sora’s message. After reading it, she turned to look at me before we both grinned at the same time. We were deciding to go to Japan together after graduation, but change of plans. We were going to visit Sora… In Korea.
