Class for today has ended and all the students are now walking home but Yeon is still inside the classroom waiting for her partner, Kris who’s still sitting in his desk and looks like he doesn’t have plans to do their project. Yoora already go with Suho at the recording studio to practice their performance and so as the others. She keeps sighing and makes few glances over Kris looks like he’s sketching something on his notebook.

“Hey! Where are you going?” She called when she saw him stood up from his seat but he didn’t answer her that’s why Yeon hurriedly slung her bag on her shoulder to follow him but when she finally walks out of the classroom, she didn’t see Kris anymore. Why he’s so fast? Where did he go? She said to her mind and then she saw him on the other side of the hallway. She follows him almost running but then, she suddenly felt a sharp pain on her chest that makes her slow down a bit. She can’t breathe properly and she feels hot like she was burning on fire.

“H-Hey…” she called before she finally falls on the floor. Kris heard a loud thud that’s why he turned around and saw Yeon on the floor clutching her chest. He immediately runs towards her.

“Hey, what’s happening to you?” Kris suddenly becomes worried to her. She was sweating a lot and her skin becomes reddish. She looks up and her eyes turn red that surprised Kris a lot. He blinks his eyes and her eyes become brown again. Am I hallucinating? He shook his head but Yeon hold his arm so tight and he felt that again, the electricity runs through his whole body and his heart beats faster.

“H-Help me.” She whispered while looking at him. Kris turned speechless but then he carries her bridal style and went to the forest near the school as fast as lightning. He looks around and he saw a big tree, he settled her under the tree but he can’t take off his eyes on her. She was still panting due to heavy breathing and she’s sweating more.

“K-Kris…help me.” She tried to stand up but stumble back. Kris didn’t know what to do that’s why he just carry her again to go to his house, their house along with s. When he finally reached the house, he looks around before he jump up to his balcony. He opens the door while still carrying her and once he opens the door, he laid her on his bed but Yeon didn’t let him go. She was still holding him tightly and few moments after, she pulled him down on top of her and hugs him tightly.

“I don’t know why but I feel hot. I feel like I’m burning.” She said on his ears and his eyes widened in shocked. He knows what the meaning of what she’s saying is. Are you my mate? That’s why I’m also feeling this way towards you? He questioned in his mind while staring at her eyes. He slowly lean down until their faces are an inch away and then Kris closed the gap. He kissed her on the lip that’s looks like a cure for Yeon. The heat inside her body lowers down slowly and the pain on her chest suddenly fades away. This is not right Yeon come to your senses. She scolded herself but her body didn’t listen to her instead, she pulled him down even more to deepen the kiss while Kris’ also drown with his feelings. He feels good kissing her but then reality hits him. He immediately pulled away and sat up on the edge of the bed while Yeon was red because of embarrassment. She pulled up the blanket up to her chest looking away from him.

“Who are you? What are you?” Kris suddenly asked after the long silence between them. Yeon sat up still with blanket and looks at him.

“I don’t understand what you are saying” She innocently answered and without a warning Kris pinned her down again on the bed. Her eyes got wide while Kris is fiercely looking at her eyes. He roughly kissed her biting her lips until she gave in and kissed him back. They didn’t know but they started to like each other. Their feelings are mutual no one knows about it except for one who’s keep pacing back and forth at his room while biting his nails in nervousness until Master Li showed in the mirror.

“Master! I’m afraid that they might bond tonight without their knowing. We know that their feelings are mutual but they still didn’t know that they are mates. What should I do? Should I go there and stop what might they are doing?” Donghae nervously asked the old man.

“We can’t do anything about that Donghae. We can’t stop them to bond but I’m afraid Kris will go against the plan now that he’s slowly realizing that she’s his mate. In the end, they might go against each other.” Master Li calmly said but deep inside he’s also afraid that something big might happen because of this. No one knows that they are actually mates even the current King of EXO except for Master Li and now Donghae also knows about it but there’s one thing that Master Li didn’t want anyone to know about the girl and he promised that he will keep it until he die.

“Once they are bonded, make sure to take away Kris from her as much as you can to prevent bigger troubles. I don’t want to my son to be in danger” Master Li said and Donghae understand it and he can’t blame the old man for protecting his son from any harm. Kris was Master Li’s son but Kris didn’t know that he was the son of the respected man in their land. Master Li had an affair with one of the high rank official’s wife named Fang Meihua. She was really beautiful that every man in the castle wants to marry her. She was originally Master Li’s before her parents made an arranged marriage with the Wu’s. Master Li let go of the girl but he didn’t know that she was already pregnant with his son until Meihua go to young Master Li to tell him that her son Kris was his. Young Master Li at that time was shocked at the news she said but in the end, he accepted it and since then, Meihua always bring the 5 years old Kris to him that many vampires suspected that Kris was Li’s son but Meihua denied it and told the others that she just want her son to be part of the twelve guardians which the Wu’s opposed. The Wu’s wants him to part of the high rank official but one night when Meihua was talking to Young Master Li in the forest, they didn’t know that her husband was there listening to their conversation and he finally knew that Kris was not his son at all just like the other suspected. Her husband came behind the tree and attacks the Young Master Li but Meihua used her body that’s instead of Master Li, she died. Since then, the news broke out about them and the Wu’s threw out Kris from their house. He was just 10 years old at that time. He became one of the street children, he didn’t have shelter to live, foods to eat and he became really poor that other kids bullied until he met Tao, the son of the head of the soldiers. Tao was only 5 years old; he was crying because he got lost along the streets that’s why he comes up to him. He helped him to get back to his nanny who’s also looking for him and since then, they became friends or more like brothers. The Huang’s pitied him that’s why they adopt him and to give back, Kris helps the household, to hunt for food and other things. Two months after, the young master Li came to the Huang’s to get Kris but Kris ran away for a month before Master Li found him on the forest where his mother died. Master Li finally has Kris since then but the boy is still cold towards him until now. On his 18^th birthday, Master Li gave him charm bracelet that his mother owned, he said that if he already find the girl he will be spending the rest of his life, give that to her as the sign of his love. Kris took it because his father gave it to him but his mother owns it. Kris became one of the twelve guardians after that along with Tao and other son’s of high rank officials.

“Tell me the truth you !” Kris gritted his teeth while his grip on her neck gets tighter which was the opposite of what Donghae thinking. Kris eyes was burning red as he sunk Yeon on his bed, her vision becomes blur because of tears that was about to fall anytime.

“I said tell me!!” He shouted on her and Donghae heard it on the other room beside Kris. He looks at the mirror where Master Li is, the old man nodded his head and Donghae immediately runs out of his room to go to the next room but it was locked. Meanwhile Kris was still holding her neck really tight and she was running out of breathe if he continue it. Her face is now pale and her lips slightly turned purple. Kris didn’t think to stop but his eagerness to kill her took over him. It seems like he was under a spell like someone is controlling him to kill her immediately but when he noticed that the girl under him is not moving anymore, he let go of her neck.

“Y-Yeon?” Kris slightly shook her body but no response and that’s when Donghae barge inside the room and his eyes got wide at the sight. He was with the others minus Suho whose still with Yoora. Donghae runs towards them and shove Kris away to check Yeon.

“Yeon wake up…Yeon!” Donghae lightly slap her face and shaking her body but she still didn’t reponse.

“Gege, she’s the guardian? Wow, you’re really great. You killed her in less time!” Tao asked but Kris suddenly felt guilty for what he did. He didn’t mean to kill her immediately, he just wants her to tell what she is but it turns out a bigger trouble.

“I don’t have any choice but to call Siwon.” Donghae took out his phone and dial Siwon’s number and after few rings he answered it.

“What’s up” Siwon greeted him.

“Ahm…you need to come here at my house. It’s urgent, I will explain to you later just come now.” Donghae said and Siwon hummed in response.

“Thank you please hurry up okay? Bye.” Donghae ended the call and he turned to them and sighed.

“Hyung, why are you so worried about her? I thought we have to kill her?” Xiumin asked while the others nodded their heads.

“Okay, I will tell you. I befriend her guardian Siwon just to get close to her. At first, I thought she was Yoora just what I told you before but I was wrong. I don’t know to explain this but as time passes by, I slowly forget the mission until all of you came here. I’m sorry but I don’t want to kill her. She’s a little sister to me and Kris I’m sorry for not telling you this but she’s your mate that’s why once you came here, you already feel her presence and such strange feelings is because of that.” Donghae explained and Kris’ eyes got wide along with the others. He can’t believe it but now he finally knew the reason of his strange feeling he’s experiencing since day one.

“So, you’re just faking it huh?” Someone says and all of them look around to know where it came from and that’s when Siwon appeared in front of them with his intimidating look and powerful aura.

“Stop it Donghae, I don’t want to hear what you’re going to say. Let’s just end our friendship here. You’re a traitor.” Siwon gritted his teeth and he turned to the eleven other guys in the room.

“You’re too weak compared to us. I will make you regret coming here and you don’t know who you go against with so be careful.” Siwon continue and Kai was about to attack him but Donghae stop him. Siwon turned back away from them and come to their precious Yeon who looks like dead to them.

“Yeon-ah, oppa is here. Let’s go home.” Siwon whispered in her ear and disappeared in the thin air. All of them are surprised and exchange glances before turning to Donghae.

“Hyung, what’s that? Who is he?” Kai asked.

“He’s the son of former King Jinhyuk”

The relationship between Master Li and Kris has been revealed and also about Choi Siwon. If you’re wondering who’s Choi Jinhyuk, he’s the one who played as Lee Minho’s older brother on ‘The Heirs’ ahaha. I just love him that’s why I added him here. Ehehe
