Key looked around the cafeteria and decided to look for Amber around campus with the food on a tray. 
He set down the tray on a table and pulled out his phone to call her. 
No answer. 
Key put his phone back into his pocket and made his way up to the balcony. 
...
Amber looked away from Henry after hearing his confession. 
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner," Henry apologized. 
"Now what am I supposed to do, huh?" Amber snapped, "Maybe I should just forget about your confession and move on, like I was already doing."
Amber started walking away, but Henry grabbed her and turned her around, crashing his lips down on hers. 
Amber froze, but she didn't push him away. 
Henry and Amber split apart and turned to the entrance to the balcony, where a clattering sound was heard. 
Key had seen the kiss.
"Key," Amber called out, looking at her boyfriend who had his fists clenched together. 
"Anyone wanna tell me what's going on?" Key demanded. 
Amber ran over to Key and dragged him away from the balcony. 
Henry sighed as he stood there alone.
...
"Amber, stop it," Key said. 
They stopped in the middle of the stairways. 
"It wasn't like what you thought it was," Amber said. 
"A kiss is a kiss," Key reasoned, "It's fine. I knew you've always liked Henry anyways. I just hoped maybe I would have a chance if I waited long enough, but I guess not."
"Key, I'm sorry."
"It's fine, with my pretty face, I think I'll manage to find another girl," Key laughed, "Go ahead and go back to Henry, I'm sure he's pretty sick of waiting."
Amber nodded and ran back up to meet Henry. 
...
"Yah, Henry!"
Henry turned around, "Where's Key?"
"We broke up."
"So I guess you're mine now," Henry declared with a smirk. 
"Says who?"
"Says me!" he answered. 
"I'd rather not," Amber joked. 
"Fine, you can go back to Key then," Henry answered. 
Amber nodded and started down the stairs, but Henry grabbed on to her from behind. 
"No, I was kidding," Henry said, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
"It's about time you asked," Amber replied with a grin

• "Yah!" Amber turned around and saw her best friend who was running up to her while panting for air. "What the heck happened to you, Henry?" she asked with a laugh. "You ditched me during Chemistry! Were you talking to Key again?" he asked with a huff as they walked to lunch together. "Oh yeah, he's a nice guy," Amber said slowly. "Is he now?" Henry asked with his eyes raised. Amber nodded, "Unlike you." Henry scoffed. "Amber!" Both Amber and Henry turned around. It was Key. "Oh, you made it! Wanna join us for lunch?" Amber asked Key with a grin while Henry mumbled something about Key being a er. "Yeah, sure!" Key said, eyeing Henry as a challenge. They sat down with Key next to Amber and Henry sitting across from the two. Henry endlessly shoved food in his mouth to prevent himself from snapping at Key who was showing Amber some goofy pictures he took on his phone. "Henry, you'll choke," Amber said, noticing his weird actions. "I think his mouth is big enough to swallow all that food," Key said with a smirk. Henry rolled his eyes as Amber and Key laughed. -- Soon the bell rang, and it was time for the last class of the day. "Hey, Amber, are you going anywhere after school?" Key asked as they walked to class together without Henry. Amber shook her head, "Not really, what's up?" "Errr, do you want to go watch a movie or something?" Key asked shyly, touching the back of his neck. Amber laughed and nodded, "Sure. You up for a horror movie?" "Ah... Okay, but it's not my fault if I end up clinging on to you like a koala," Key said with a laugh, "So it's a date then?" Amber smiled lightly, "It's a date then."
