My daily routine as a knight of Kyungri is...

wake up 

get dressed 

make patrol.

Practice the basic forms of the kururugi in the rear garden,

the one right below her highness window.

Have breakfast,

make sure my clothes are in order.

And then...

Five minutes early 

I walk into her room, pardon myself, make my way to the window and say

"Please pardon me It's time to wake up Princess"

"mmm"

She is my master,

17th princess in the line to the throne of the holy empire,

Her highness Kyungri.

"Five more minutes" she mumbles sluggishly raising her hand.

This is my daily routine.

Its was seven years ago when we first met.

 

I stood in a rose garden swinging the wooden sword I had been given to practice with.

I swung in the through the air and was fairly satisfied with the result.

"Yes,Perfect" I told myself.

"hay you" I heard a high voice call. 

I jerked, a little scared and turned to witness a girl.

She had red ribbons in her hair and wore a white dress.

"what, when did you get here?" 

"I've been here the entire time" she told me. "You were really focused weren't you"

She gave me a sweet smile before continuing.

"I didn't mean to startle you. I apologize"

Whoa

wait,why did I think Whoa?

"Are you going to become a knight?' she asked interrupting my conflicting thoughts. 

"A knight?"

"yea, I thought you might be training for that since you have a sword."

"oh ,Thing is just a wood sword so I can practice sword dancing for the festival" I explained.

"is that so" she moved closer placing her gloved hands onto  the sword.

"That's a shame.That was beautiful.Really beautiful. I could watch you do that every-day"

"What's your name?" I asked as she removed her hand from the sword.

"I'm Kyungri VI It's a pleasure to meet you"

"What?" i asked as my memory aught up with me.

"I heard that some bigwigs from the Holy Empire had come but..."

"yea, I'm a tagalong with them." 

"is it okay for you to be wondering around by yourself?" I asked her.

She placed her hand on her chin and looked around.

"I wasn't alone originally.I wanted to try slipping away from them, but it seems I really did slip away"

She continued.

"honestly, they don't even understand how a child would behave but their supposed to watch me"

and yet...

she has such an adult air talking about it...

I feel kind of bad for them.

"Well, since I seem to have lost myself, I guess I don't have room to complain"

"huh?!"  

she wasn't scared at all?

"So would you mind escorting me to the city hall?" she asked me.

"Well...okay. I'll show you" 

I began to walk as she followed me.

"Whats your name by the way?"

"Ah it's Sungah" I told her.

"Sungah" she called my name causing me to turn my direction to her.

She walked beside me and smiled.

"it seems like getting lost was a good idea. I got to see something special"

"Well don't make a habit of bothering people" I told her.

"I know. I just  don't feel lost right now"

She just doesn't learn.

but she is a interesting person.

 

We reached the city hall quickly and she shook my hand,

"Thank you. You really saved me."

"No problem" I told her.

"Then bye Sungah, I hope we meet again"

I waved goodbye to her as she smiled and ran to the crowd of tall men.

 

I ran so fast home that the excitement was almost over-flowing.

As soon as I reached the home door I pulled it open.

"Father!" I yelled.

"How can I become a knight of the Holy Empire?"

and now this is my life.
