I woke up to my phone ringing "Haeun get dressed in something nice and come downstairs we have a important lunch with Mr. Choi, they want to meet you so be on your best behaviour, okay?" My fathers voice said. I looked down clenching my jaw. "Ne, I'll be down in a few." I picked out a light colored dress that stopped midthigh, a bow tied around the waist, white high heels and a white headband, i put on light makeup and left the hotel room i pushed the down button for the elevator, my father was standing impatiently in the lobby area looking up when i near him "about time, hurry to the car i hope were not to late" he said his tone harsh. I bowed "sorry appa" he ignored me, i followed him and my mother to the car slightly, the car ride seeming to take forever  my parents didn't make jokes, or have fun, the room was always tense. I let out a sigh of relief when the car stopped, my father getting out first, i followed him and my mother to the table where i saw Seung Hyun sitting, his eyes looked me up and down a small smirk playing on his lips. We bowed and apologized for being late. I took my seat which just so happened to be in front of HIM. "So you must be Haeun, you are a very beautiful young lady" Mrs. Choi said with a smile, i looked down blushing "thank you very much ma'am, that's very generous especially coming from you" i complimented right back, she smiled. We ordered food parents talking business for awhile i stayed quiet staring at my plate, whenever i looked up his eyes were on me. "Our Seung Hyun is quite taken with your Haeun, she's very polite, pretty. I think I'll take you up on your offer Mr. Kang, Haeun will move to Seoul and they will be engaged. Then after they are married we will merge" Mr. Choi said making me choke on my water. I coughed "excuse me, i need to use the bathroom I'll be right back" i stood up walking away, making sure they weren't looking and hurried outside trying to catch my breath the dress i was wearing suddenly to tight. I had to get away from here. I ran the best i could with heels on. I went to the beach taking off my shoes standing before the ocean taking deep breathes of the sea salt air, lost in my thoughts i didn't realize the sky darkening, thunder, rain drops hitting my face. I just stared into the never ending ocean the waves crashing the shore splashing cold water against my ankles. When the rain began to pour is when i was pulled out of my daze. I made my way back to the side walk walking until i come across the cafe Ravi took me to. I walked inside and took a seat slipping my shoes back on. "Hi what can i get for you?" I looked up "uh something sweet and warm please?" I asked shivering slightly. He nodded walking away, i sat staring off into nothing yet again trying to hold myself together forcing myself not to cry. "Haeun? Is that you??" I turned seeing Ravi his eyes wide. "Your soaking wet." Seeing him my eyes teared up. He rushed over to me covering me with his jacket "Haeun what's wrong?" He cupped my face in his hands whipping away the tears that fell from my eyes with his thumbs. "Ravi.." i sniffled the waiter came by setting the drink down i reached for my purse realizing i left it at the restaurant then looking annoyed and about to take the drink away when Ravi pulled out his wallet and paid for it "take a drink warm up" i took a long drink "now tell me what's wrong, please" i looked up at him, at his sweet brown eyes, messy hair, i closed my eyes tightly "trouble with my parents, left my wallet where they are but i don't want to go back" i sighed. " Stay with me tonight then" he stood up "come on before you get sick" he grabbed my hand leading me out of the cafe he got a cab giving him his address. When we got to his apartment he lead me inside "I'll get something for you to wear so you can take a shower" he disappeared into a room i stood in the same spot looking around his nearly empty place. He walked back out holding two towels, a pair of long shorts and a long baggy t shirt he held them out to me "here quick shower first door on the left there" i nodded " thank you Ravi" i headed to the small bathroom, taking a nice hot shower feeling my bones warm. I reluctantly got out and put on the borrowed clothes and dried my hair as best as i can and walked out of the bathroom, i sniffed the air, i followed the smell into the kitchen where Ravi stood cooking "ah that smells so good" he smiled looking over at me " it's done, go sit and I'll bring it to you" he nudged me out of the kitchen. I chuckled and sat at the table. Moments later he brought out plates full of noodles, rice, and drinks. He sat down across from me "i hope you like it" i took a bite my mouth watering "omo it's delicious!!" I exclaimed taking another bite. After we finished eating i cleaned up the dishes. When i finished i saw Ravi making up the couch " you take my bed tonight I'll sleep out here" he smiled warmly making my heart tighten. "Good night" i went into his room and laid in his bed. Closing my eyes tears falling until i fall asleep
