Description
*Sequel to Strings* Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on...
Foreword
"Neh, Mimi, why didn't you wake me up?"
"You looked peaceful. I didn't want to disturb you, Mochi."
"But if I was awake, I could spend more time with you!"
Zhou Mi grit his teeth and shook his head. He looked down at the toddler and shook him lightly. "Enlai, time to wake up."
His son scrunched up his nose and groaned lightly, rolling onto his other side. Zhou Mi chuckled and shook him again. "Enlai, come on- Baba wants to take you somewhere," he urged.
He watched, amused, as his son's eyes shot open and the little boy jumped up in excitement. "Where, Baba? Where?"
"Baba wants to go visit an old.... friend of mine," Zhou Mi said quietly, eyes darkening.
