Preface

“In a week I’ll be marrying a stranger because of this arranged marriage that was settled between our families long ago without our approval.  My heart belongs to my only star and no one else.  This stranger can’t have me.  Never.” Seung Hyun sips a glass of red wine and stares at the small paper origami star in the palm of his hand.  He looks up at the night sky from the balcony of his condo.  He only sees one star twinkling all alone in the massive dark sky.
