The night air was cold, many stars glittered against the darkened sky as they twinkled with light. Water was pushed aside as a large metal ship trudged it's way through the ocean currents. On deck, couples watched the stars holding eachother close for warmth against the freezing temperatures. They watched in awe at the beauty before them, unknowing to the threat ahead. Lovely blue green eyes gazed upon them with envy and longing. A young woman no older than twenty stood, leaning against the railing holding her back from falling into the icy depths below. Her body wrapped in a warm fur coat as her breath came out in white puffs of air. The air was growing colder as time went on, many of the couples disappeared back inside where it was warmer. Muscular arms wound around her slim waist as a chin lay gentley on her shoulder.

"What are you thinking about, my love?" a deep voice asked as warm lips placed a gentle, loving kiss an her cheek.

"Do you think we could stay this way forever?" her soft voice spoke. A deep chuckle rumbled through the chest behind her as the person holding her spun her to face him.

"I believe we can stay this way for how ever long you wish." The girl smiled looking to the man's face that was shrouded in shadows. She smiled fondly at him. 

"I would like that." her hands gripped his jacket as she pulled herself closer and leaned in for a kiss. Just as their lips were about to touch the ship rocked throwing them to the floor. Behind them a large block of ice pasted by with the sound of something being torn from the boat. The two watched it pass with wide eyes, something was not right. The ship begun to groan as the man quickly stood, pulling her up as well. They ran through the ship as people shoved and screamed. He kept his grip on her hand hard so that she wouldn't get sperated from him. They pushed their way through the crowds of terrified passengers, trying to get to the life boats. Upon reaching the door, loud cracking sounds echoed through the halls. The ship as brecking in two! The Man pulled her to him and gave her a long passionate kiss and shoved her towards the door. 

"Go, I'll follow I have to grab something from the room." he ordered, giving her a small smile. The girl nodded, turning to the door and rushing out. After an hour of waiting for him to return, she soon grew worried and went off to look. Her hands gripped the walls as the ship tilted upwards but she trudged on with the hope of finding her love. The floor below her broke apart and she slipped through the crack, heading straight for the icy ocean below. 

"Alena!" blue green eyes locked with dark brown. A pale hand reached out as she tried to grab her lover. "NO!" she heard him scream, knowing it was to late she screamed hoping someone would save her. It ended in vain, no one heard her plead and her body hit the water with a loud smack, sinking below. Her lover watched with sorrowful eyes, tears falling freely as he screamed her name.
