Something moved in the bushes. I turned around to catch a glimpse of it, but it was gone. My heart beat started to go faster and faster and faster. I soon thought it would jump out of my chest any second now, but obviously hearts can’t jump out of your body, or can they? I felt like my legs were glued to the ground, but seconds later I regained my legs and ran as fast as I could. I knew where I was wasn’t a pleasant scene to be part of. There were woods all around me, tall pine trees all lined up, the wind blowing leaves in the air. It felt as if someone or something was watching me. I heard a branch crack. I stopped dead in my tracks. I slowly turned around, afraid of what I was going to see. I was about to face something that either hated me and wanted me to be gone or an animal. Oh, how I wished it was an animal, and my wish came true. There stood a white tailed doe looking straight at me. I didn't move and I didn't dare to move, either. It's coat was thick and rich brown. It’s tail was white as the snow and it had white spots all over her back.

Her ears stood straight up as if she heard something. I noticed that she kept looking behind me, I turned around and saw white smoke coming this way. I turned back at the doe but it wasn't there. I looked once more at the white smoke but more closely and I saw it wasn’t actually smoke, it didn't even smell like smoke. As if it was a whip of wind with colors. Not only was it plain white but at the very end of the "smoke", there were colors of the rainbow; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. I couldn't move. It felt like I was being hypnotized, and I couldn't function my legs right. They wouldn't move when you tried! The "smoke" came closer and closer, and it soon surrounded me. It then started spinning, each spin it took the closer it got to me. I shut my eyes tight, hoping that it would some how disappear.

BEEP BEEP BEEP...!!!!!

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, I slammed my hand down on it to shut it off. I remembered the dream I had again. Lately I’ve been having the same dream for days, I lost count after a month. Every time when the "smoke" is about to spin and get closer to me I wake up. I haven't passed that, I was hoping that I would last night but no such luck. I haven’t told anyone about these dreams I’ve been getting. I feel as if they are trying to tell me something, but its just my imagination, right? I slowly got out of bed and walked to the bathroom next door. I heard the shower go on, must be Sophia, my sister. Let me tell you about myself more. I am a 15 year old girl who’s birthday is on September 6 1996. I have one baby brother and a sister, David and Sophia. David is 4 years old turning 5 in October. Sophia is 15, turning 16 in November. I’m the oldest child. My name is Julietta but everyone calls me Julia or Julz for short. I have brown hair that cascades down to my elbows. I have blue eyes, and very long eyelashes. I’m 5ft 8 for my age which is pretty tall.

I’m not into the girly stuff and if someone payed me 100 dollars to wear a pink dress I would not even dare touch it. I’m sporty, and the tomboy kind. I like to wear stylish clothes that are not only pretty but comfortable. I’m very smart in school but I’m not a genius. I act like a gangster most of the time and I swear but when I’m only near people I hate. I’m sarcastic a lot and that’s where my humor comes from. My sister Sophia, has brown hair like me with sparkly light brown highlights, she has brown eyes and very straight pearly white teeth. Shes a sporty girl, who’s very tough and can beat up anyone who stands in her way. She’s very smart and gets straight A’s in school. She loves animals very much and is a vegetarian. I have a friend who takes on the name "older brother" because hes always there for us, his name is Grant Carter Street. He is in the Tigers Football team, he goes to the same school as us. Today is the first day of school, me, Sophia,will be going to George Washington High school today. We are currently a sophomore.

I pounded on the bathroom’s door.

"Sophia you have been in there for years!"

"No I haven’t"

"Can you please come out?"

"Fine"

In about 5 minutes Sophia came out all showered and dressed up for school. She wore black skinny jeans with purple converse, she wore a green sparkly t-shirt with a purple jacket.

"Finally" I said.

Sophia rolled her eyes and as she walked down stairs she called out. "Never rush perfection sis-ta."

I ran into the bathroom to shower, got dressed, and got out in 45 minutes. I wore a purple top with black skinny jeans with purple flats. I decided to finish off the look to wear a black mini leather jacket and a purple headband. I went down stairs and was surrounded with wonderful smells, on the table were bacon, eggs, cereal, strawberries, bagels, and all sort of delicious food. Sophia only ate the cereal and didn’t even touch the bacon because she is a vegetarian. I sat down next to our dad.

"Good morning Dad!"

"Good morning Julietta"

Our parents looked real long for their age, well that’s because they exercise a lot.

"Are you two excited for your first day of school?" asked Mom.

"Uhuhuh..." Me and Sophia responded.

Our dad chuckled. "Some-body's nervous for their first day"

"Who?" Sophia asked sarcastically.

We heard a car park into our driveway, as soon as it did we heard a car honk.

"That must be Grant." I said.

Sophia and I ran upstairs got our backpacks and said our goodbyes. We ran outside and jumped into Grant’s BMW.

"Hey 2 DA lo!" I said.

"Hey, are you going to say that to every person you meet?" Grant asked.

"Don’t you know Grant that’s her greeting quote and her famous quote is "I know right. I’ve been getting that a lot these days!" You should know that Grant." Sophia explained.

"Ha ha very funny."

"Ya I know I’m very funny."

We drove for about 5 minutes until we reached the school. We got many glares from girls as we drove into the school’s parking lot. Grant was popular and all that stuff, so you can see why they would give us glares. Grant gave us hugs goodbye and told us to call him if something happens, so he can beat that person up. Oh how protective he is, sometimes it gets annoying. Me and Sophia took our schedules out and saw that we have about 5 classes together. Homeroom was one of them, we got the most meanest teacher in the building. Now I began wondering that high school isn't going to be all fun. We found our lockers and got our books for the next 3 classes and ran to homeroom without being caught. When we walked in we saw Mrs. Denis with a ruler in her hand motioning everyone into seats. She saw us at the door and pointed to two desks next to each other at the back. Everyone had their eyes on us as we made it to the back. Some girls gave us glares, boys gave us those smiles that obviously tells any girl that

a) they're jocks

b) been dating a lot of girls in their lives and

c) they are 100% players.

We saw some of our friends in the back too, we fast walked to our seats and took notes the rest of the period. The rest of the school day was very boring and went by quickly, it was the usual first day. You get papers, bring them home and get them signed. Thank God we didn't get any homework. After school we meet with some of our friends, they are very easy to describe. Derek is a popular guy who is very nice. He has brown hair with brown eyes, real tall if I must say, I think he’s 6 ft 3. Alicia is Sophia’s and my best friend, we call her our sister. She’s very sporty and 100% not girly, she is very nice and cool. She has black hair with brown eyes. Lucas is a football player, he is a prankster and a class clown, he is going to college in a few days. He has short brown hair that’s curly and brown eyes.

He taught me all the pranks he knows, and trust me its a lot. Chris who is the football team’s coaches son, is somewhat smart if you can say so. He is very entertaining to watch because he makes fun of himself 24/7. We saw the cheerleaders walk by, we waved at them and got into our cars and drove home. When we got home our parents were gone at work, and our little brother was at his preschool. We all ordered pizza and chilled for the rest of the day. Around 7pm everyone had left and mom and dad with David were home and we were watching TV. At 10pm we all decided to go to bed. I went to the bathroom took a shower, got into bed and was fast asleep. But as soon as my brain shut it self off, the dream came again.
