The sun sets on the city, the bright orange and red glow slowly pouring down behind the glittering sky scrapers. A cool breeze blows your hair all around your face as you stand out on your balcony. The view from your apartment is great but you can’t look down; you’re too high up.
You make your way back inside your house and lock the sliding glass door. your roommate Jihyun left a huge mess of Halloween candy and decorations all over your living room. You almost trip over a bag of candy corn as you make your way towards the bathroom. You turn on the water for your shower and take off your clothes. The warm water on your skin relaxes you and your thoughts begin to wonder…
Jong Hyun promised he’d make it over to your house while Jihyun was out DJ-ing at this new club in town. Jong Hyun promised to make up for canceling your last date together at the last minute. He promised to make good on this promise to treat you like a princess tonight.
The water in the shower is so hot. Maybe too hot. You suddenly feel weak, tired. The steam surrounding you blurs your vision and slows your breaths. Before you can get out, you’re falling. Fainting in the tub as the water nearly drowns you.
You wake up a short time later to the sound of the radio. “Love’s Way,” you think. You slowly sit up realizing you’re not in the shower anymore. Jong Hyun looks down at you and smiles, pulling you closer to him.
“Oh my God, when did you get in here?” You ask, rubbing your eyes. He laughs.
“A few seconds before you collapsed. I was on my in when I heard you fall. Water too hot again?”
“Probably.” Jong Hyun leans down and kisses your lips softly and squeezes your body close to his. It’s then you realize you’re . Face grows hot with shyness as he lifts you up and carries you over to your bed.
“I promised you something, didn’t I?” Jong Hyun says with a playful smile. You swallow hard and try to speak but your throat is parched. All you can do is nod in silence. Jong Hyun then begins to take off his jacket, then his shirt and pants, all while not taking his eyes off of you. His deep brown eyes are burning into you. He's staring at you like he's never seen a girl before, let alone a full on one all exposed and displayed for him on a soft bed of love.
Jong Hyun is now too, and he’s slowly crawling onto your bed.
“Come here.” he says, reaching his hand out to you, but you don’t. you can’t move. You can barely breathe. His immense body heat so close to you is overwhelming. You have to admit he looks good, but deep inside your so nervous.
“Jong Hyun…I’m not sure I want to do this.” You say, slowly letting him pull you in. His strong arms are holding you so tight; you can feel his heart beat on your skin. He holds your face in his hands and kisses you until you can’t breathe.
“Jong Hyun,” you say, gasping for air. “I’m ready.”
“You sure?” He asks. You nod and crawl underneath him.
“I love you.” He whispers. Just then Jihyun bursts into your room and ruins your night.
