In an attempt to save her scandalous twin sister from shame and disgrace, Jung Soojung portrays as Jung Bona--the ravishing and flamboyant wife of Kim Jongin, a much respected noble and cousin to the king. With the knowledge that her twin sister has given her about the wealthy aristocrat, Soojung doesn't seem so eager to pose as her twin, but with the predicament that her sister has put her in, she has no choice to comply.

All is not as it appears to be when she arrives at the estate, however, as she unknowingly starts to fall for her brother-in-law, and when Soojung discovers secret letters, documents, along with a secret organization against the crown that her supposed "husband" seems to be a part of, she slowly begins to question her twin sister's intentions for sending her there.
