Foreword

Changmin's POV

♦ ♦

"Where the hell is Hyung?" I questioned to myself, "I'm freaking starving!"

Ever since Jaejoong-hyung brought his new "friend" home, he's been to busy with her to even worry about the fact that I'm hungry and need to be fed regularly! I mean I can't complain too much since she did bring 2 of her friends with her. One of which I have become really close with and the other Junsu-hyung has taken possession of.

Flashback

"Guys this is Nicole, and her friends Jessica and Robin." Jae-hyung announced. She was the tallest of the three short Canadians and had a warm, welcoming smile on her face.

We all knew that Jaejoong-hyung had a girl, but none of us had actually met her until now, and we definitly did not expect him to bring 2 others back with him. Not that I was complaining because the shorter black haired girl caught my attention as soon as she walked into the living room. Her name was Jessica and she seemed excited to be here and you could tell because she had the biggest smile on her face, which I might add was completely adorable and it kinda made me giggle (which I would deny later because Choikang Changmin did NOT giggle).

The third girl who Jae had introduced as Robin seemed to catch Junsu-hyung's attention real quick. She had longer brown hair about the same colours as Junsu's actually. She also had that excited smile on her face that he clearly enjoyed.

End Flashback

As if on que Jae-hyung and Nicole walked in and \i took the opportunity to let him know he had work to do.

"Hyung where have you 2 been?? I am freaking starving and there is nothing for me to eat!!"

"Why do I always have to make you something to eat MIn? Isn't Junsu around? Why didn't you ask him?"

"Because him and Robin are to busy playing soccer outside, not that I would call it much of a soccer game the way he keeps picking her up so she can't score, cheater. and besides, you always make the best food."

"Well maybe thats a sign that you need to start to learn to provide for yourself MIn."

"I'll teach you how to cook Minnie" Jessica announced as she walked into the kitchen. I'm pretty sure my blank stare of how coincidental her appearance was, was pretty clear on my face. She ducked her head, but I caught the blush she was trying to hide.

"Really?" Jae and I both questioned. SHe turned to face the older member, and then me, fists resting on her hips as she raised an eyebrow.

"Yea of course, my mo taught me when I was little, so it shouldn't be hard to teach you."

"Good luck with that" Jae said sarcastically as Nicole and him left.

The next day my "cooking classes" began.

Junsu's POV

♦ ♦

After another successful game of soccer, which I almost lost but thanks to Robin being ticklish I managed to sneak in one more goal and save myself, we decided to take a break and go inside and make a snack. What we saw when we walked in was Captian Useless-when-it-comes-to-making-food in the kitchen. Cooking... I think?

"what is this? Changmin cooking?" I questioned in disbelief.

"You could say that." Jessica informed me from the table, her gaze not leaving him as his supervisor.

"Why all the sudden do you have an interest in cooking there Min-ah?"

"Well because Jaejoong-hyung and you are busy and i don't exactly want to starve, so I decided to learn, and Jess offered to teach me." He said that last part with the biggest and cheesiest grin on his face you could imagine.

“You realize that teaching him to cook is going to be like mission impossible right?” Jess turned in her seat and glared at me. What? I was being honest.

“Actually he’s doing really well.”

“Well yea, I guess so. He hasn’t managed to burn down the house yet,”

“Su, leave him alone. At least he’s trying” Robin chimed in Changmin’s defence.

“Ok, Ok fine. Good luck Min.”

“Thanks Hyung, one of these days I’m going to make dinner for everybody.” He proclaimed a little more excited than necessary.

“Um you keep practicing a bit more Min. I don’t exactly want food poisoning.” That earned me a burn-on-the-spot glare from both of them and an elbow in my ribs from Robin.

“Sounds good Min. I can’t wait” she said before shacking her head at me. “Leave him alone. Lets go, I’ll kick your at soccer again” she said and my favourite smile came back which had me running out the door after her.

Jessica’s POV

¨ ¨

I never realized how little Minnie actually knew about cooking. Considering though, he was catching on quite well.

“I didn’t know what I was getting myself into agreeing to teach Minnie to cook, but its not all bad. I mean, I get to spend a lot more time with him now,” I told the girls, the last part coming out rushed and whispered in case someone other than the 3 of us could eavesdrop. We decided to have a girls night after all of us spending so much time with the boys.

“Awe isn’t that cute, coming together over food,” Robin joked. It amazed me to see how much Junsu rubbed off on her.

“Yea, ok little Miss “I love soccer” all the sudden” I shot back at her. Causing a blush of embarrassment, she knew I was right.

“Oh well at least he’s learning, he keeps telling Jae that’s he’s going to cook a big dinner for everyone eventually.” Nic said in Minnie’s defence.

“Yea that’s what he wants to do eventually” I admitted.

“Yea I remember him saying that, I’m excited to see how he does” Robin said excitedly.

“Me too.” Nic and I exclaimed together.

Changmin’s POV

¨ ¨

The past couple weeks have been great. I’ve spent them with Jess teaching me how to cook. I didn’t think I would have this much fun with it, though, mind you I’m sure it had something to do with my teacher. Tonight was the big night, the night that I was going to make a big dinner for everyone, and to say the least I was a bit nervous… Ok a lot nervous.

“Oh god I’m nervous.”

“Relax Minnie your going to do just fine.” Jess said, trying her best to calm me down a bit.

“But what if they don’t like it?”

“They are going to love it. Trust me, you are an amazing cook now” And if they don’t like it then they can talk to the wooden spoon in the cupboard. She fumed mentally.

“Ok, if you say so” I was still a little worried and I’m pretty sure she saw that written all over my face, because she came over to me and gave me one of the most comforting hugs I have ever had. She whispered “They are going to love it. Your fine. Now we should get started,” in my ear making me feel a lot better knowing she was going to help me and not just abandon me in this kitchen.

They were all seated at the table waiting with excited smiles on their faces, as Jess and I walked out with everything we had prepared.

“It looks amazing Min-ah,” Jae-hyung said to me with a huge smile on his face.

“Thanks Hyung”

“Yea it looks great, now lets eat!” Junsu-hyung screeched with excitement. Even though he was the one worried about me giving him food poisoning in the first place.

To my surprise and relief everything went really well, it all turned out the way I wanted it to. After everyone finished eating, the girls offered to help me clean up so I could get out of the kitchen and enjoy my victory.

“Well Min, you managed to make an amazing dinner without poisoning me,” Junsu-hyung joked. How did I know that was coming…

“Yea, it was great” Robin agreed.

“I’m glad you took my advice Min.” Jae-hyung told me

“Yea, it was so good you could almost take Jae’s spot as top cook in the house.” Nicole stated, earning a disbelieving look from Jae. Everyone else just laughed and continued chatting amongst themselves.

“See? I told you, you would do just fine.” Jessica chimed in my ear.

“No thanks to my amazing teacher” I shot back at her.

“Well then, your welcome” she smiled to me.

“Ok, ok cut it out you two. I can only handle so much lovey dovey stuff.” Junsu-hyung complained.

“And you think I want to see you with your hands all over Robin when you’re playing soccer?” I immediately responded, defending myself. And to my pleasure I got nothing but embarrassed blushes from the 2 of them and laughs from everyone else. Then I looked to Jae and Nicole and heard Jessica take the words right out of my mouth.

“Don’t think the 2 of you are innocent and don’t fall into the vicious circle of public displays of affection. Yea that’s right, I saw you two in the piano room a couple days ago.” Nicole’s face blanched as she realized she had gotten caught, but there was a hint of I’m-going-to-kill-you as well. Everyone continued to laugh the rest of the night and joke with each other. So it all went well. I cooked my very first big meal, but most definitely not my last.
