Kfanfiction's Writing Competition

'ey 'ey 'ey the results are out!

First of all I would like to thank everyone who participated, because wow, you guys found the time, effort, and focus to write, and even if you did not win this contest, I want to commend you for your abilities, because all of you have a desire to communicate, and I think that is a beautiful skill to have.

Here is an alphabetical list of every submitted entry. If you hover over the title, a description of the fanfic will show (this doesn't work on AFF apparently, so just click the link). Included are short comments to encourage the authors who submitted their work to me. Those in bold are a few of my personal favorites. Let me know if you submitted an entry but do not see your fanfic on this list, and I will correct it (sorry in advance!)

Please check all of these fanfics out!! While I may favor one fanfic over another, that does not mean that you will hold the same opinion. Each to his own, right? Give them all a peek and find your own diamond in the rough. :)

60 Seconds by aftertimepasses - such a cute, whimsical story about love at first sight.

Enigma of Masks by puffy73 - one of the darker entries I received. I was so shocked by the ending, I had to read it again.

His Troublesome First Lady by meladie_byun - I appreciated the switch on the classic naughty and nice main characters.

Hyaline Friends by daoquisha - I wouldn't mind monsters if they were as handsome as EXO.

I Told Her by truthbetold - this realistic story cracked my heart under the pressure of nostalgia and old loves.

K.K. Slider by doremia - we all have a guilty pleasure for saccharine love confessions.

Limenitis Arthemis by i_got_this - a girl with wings and a boy who can read hearts? *subscribed*

Living Deer by dharma - this story made me laugh. Maybe fairytales do come true!

Of Blue Skies and Beautiful Memories by summerscents - reminded me of Koizora. Thinking about that movie makes me so upset, haha.

Puzzles by 61chanyeolminded - so true. Puzzles take forever to solve, especially when pieces are missing.

Regal Archer by asianrye0127 - I felt so cool reading this. Someone give me a kingdom to save, please.

Rise by ChibiHibird - a personal interpretation of Han's pitiful childhood pre-Double Edged.

The Thief by hiddensprings - reminds me of all the gloomy short stories I'd write at 3am.

Want You Back by Jenqianchen - sometimes, in the process of growing up, we lose our grasp on what's important.

White Walls by ohsehoon - this story drove me curious. Closed doors are an everlasting question mark.

Waiting For Spring by JAKimITATT - nice guys finish last, but at least they finish well.

What Makes Us Constant by CandySam - wishing for a different past is something with which I can certainly sympathize.

And now, for the part I am sure everyone was waiting for: who won? Well, if it isn't obvious already, all those I bolded are not only my favorites, but my top five, as well. I was impressed with everyone's submissions and especially intrigued by those five.

How are you guys so talented?? I'm envious of some of the stories I read. I would like to give you a high five for being cool, and a triple high-five and a giant hug to asianrye0127 for her epic submission. I was so fascinated by your fic. It brought me back to that year in my life when all I read were stories about princesses and kingdoms. (Shannon Hale, anyone?) It's been a while since I read something in that setting, so I thoroughly enjoyed your work and especially the detail you put into your story. I can tell that you really invested time into the plot. Everyone, even the side characters, had a reason for their actions, and I appreciate that. Also, Kana is BA, and that poster is rad.

Again, thank you to everyone who participated, I really mean that. If you were writing a fic and never finished it because of the deadline, give it to me anyway so I can include it here. Even if you didn't win, I promise I read your entire entry and enjoyed each one to some extent. Please do not stop writing. Practice really does help. If you ever want me to read your things, send them over, and I'll check them out when I have time. I would love to help!

If you are the winner, please contact me ASAP! Again, thank you so much!!!!!!

I have a question. Is it okay to take lines from your story, but the plot is different.. ?

For example, in your story 'Cupid's Match', Junah tells Bora and Nam. “I’m gonna go for a walk.”

Is it okay to include “I’m gonna go for a walk.” in my entry? If no, I'll change it.
