Description
Do Kyungsoo was a regular, teenage boy who shared the common dream with many of being a Korean pop sensation. He knew singing was his calling and the stage was where he wanted to be, but he knew he didn't have the y looks and the cocky charms to get him far. With a small amount of courage and much persuasion by his best friend, Baekhyun, he decides to audition for a famous company known to make global stars, Global Talent Entertainment. Knowing the chances of him getting a call back was slim, he decides to not raises his hopes too high.
But what happens when Kyungsoo DOES get a call back?
Before he realizes it, Kyungsoo's life is turned upside down as this little innocent boy is dragged into the harsh world of contracts, money and lies-also known as the Korean entertainment business.
But before Kyungsoo can escape from this cruel industry, he is dragged into a deal with the devil where his voice is what the public will only hear and Kai's face is what they will only see.
Kyungsoo wants out but what happens when he begins to fall for the shallow idol who claims to have his voice? What happens when said shallow idol begins to fall for wide-eyed angelic boy himself?
There is one thing that Kyungsoo is certain of, that none of this is going to end well.

This is my weak attempt at writing a fanfic. I don't know what is going to come out of this but I do have a general idea of what is going to happen in this story and how it is going to end. I don't plan on making this a long fanfic, I'm thinking 40 chapters at the max as I typically hate stories that are drawn out past their limit, but nothing is certain. I also do not know how frequently I will be updating. I monkey balls at updating, I really do but all I know is that I'm determined to finish this. See the thing is I don't want to update super fast and release poop chapters that make jack sense. Plus it's January and exams are approaching really soon for me (why I started to write a fanfic idk), so updates are going to be slow (atleast for this month). Even so I hope you can support me, and enjoy this fanfiction.

Also, if this fanfic sounds like anything similar, I am sorry as I did not copy, I really just thought of this plot on my own. I mean if you've seen "200 Pounds of Beauty" the whole getting someone to sing for someone else idea is used there but it's a completely different plot, trust me.

Foreword
For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to be a singer.
Growing up, I realized my true passion lay hidden in the vast notes and scales of music and not some typical boring office job that my parents wanted me to have.
Every time I closed my too wide-eyes I could picture myself standing on top of a large stage in front of millions of fans, chanting my name in unison.
Kyungsoo! Kyungsoo! Kyungsoo!
The rush, the adrenaline, the power-
"Kyungsoo, are you ready? You're on in five!" came a rushed voice from the side.
I took a deep breathe and sighed internally, "I'm ready." Before I knew it, a microphone was shoved into my small hands and I was ushered into a small place that was closed off by four large, red curtains.
Junmyeon quickly poked his head into the between the tapestry with a small smile painted on his flawless face and whispered some words of encouragement, "you're going to do fine, I believe in you."
I gave him a lop-sided smile and nodded my head nervously, "I hope so.."
Junmyeon gave me one last smile and raised his handed into a fist while mouthing 'fighting! and quickly left.
I gulped and looked at the bright multi-coloured LED lights shining above my head.
So this is it...people are finally going to hear my voice.
The music that was being played in the stadium slowly picked up and got louder, the bass radiating from the large speakers placed in various spaces in the revenue, notifying the audience that the show was about to start.
The chants from the audience always began to increase with the music, to the point where the space under my feet began to vibrate
Deep breathes Kyungsoo...you can do this! You won't up, you can do this-
Unfortunately, a deep voice interrupted my self motivational speech,"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF SEOUL, MAKE SOME NOISE!"
The vibrations under my feet increased and the floor underneath me began to shake.
"PLEASE WELCOME THE IEST MALE IN SOUTH KOREA!"
The screams, if possible, got even louder. To the point where the announcer himself was being drowned out by the yells.
"THE ONE AND THE ONLY, KAI!"
The stadium exploded with screams and cries of various people demanding to see their idol, Kai, finally debut.
This was not how I imagined my debut.
