After class was over, Miyoung pulled Sehun aside and exploded.

“What the hell did you say to Minho?” She demanded.

Sehun smiled brightly, getting ready to go full out on his explanation.

“So I know that you like him - or used to - don’t ask me how I know that, and I also know that he completely broke your heart – don’t ask me how I know that either – so I decided to find him right after second period and give him a piece of my mind.”

Miyoung’s jaw dropped, “How the hell did you know that?”

He tsked her, “Now I told you not to ask me that. Anyway so he asked who I was after being super duper awesome and intimidating him with my fabulousness-“ Miyoung rolled her eyes, “-and I told him I was a new exchange student from Korea. He invited me to sit at his table and I declined politely, at least I thought I was polite…” He trailed off before shaking his head and focusing once more.

“He asked me why and I told him I had to sit with my girlfriend. He was kinda confused at that point because I told him that he knew her. Once I told him it was you he was surprised and he got a bit defensive, oh you should have seen his face he looked so jealous!”

“...then I told him that if he ever talked to you again I’d kick his .”

She widned her eyes when Sehun finished his story with a smile. He took her arm, not giving her a chance to respond. “Now come on, we need to go to fourth period!”

Miyoung pulled her arm back, furious.

“Holy Sehun! You can’t go up to people and tell them I’m your girlfriend!” She reddened and looked down at the ground, “that’s ridiculous…”

Confusion flitted through Sehun's face as they both stood in the middle of the hallway, attracting attention. “Why is that ridiculous? I don’t think it is.”

Miyoung squeezed her eyes shut before shuffling off to the side, trying to stop attracting attention. “Because look at you.” She waved her arm in front of him as if it were obvious.

Sehun raised his brow, “Yes this is me? So?”

“So?” she stuttered, “You’re this super handsome Korean guy and then there's me, I’m not even Korean but you’re my supposed boyfriend? I’m just a regular girl. It’s ridiculous.”

She pushed passed him to walk towards her fourth period, still dark red.

He pulled her arm back dramatically (kdrama moment), looking upset. Miyoung was taken aback by the sudden force, “what is it? Did I say something wrong?”

He had a serious look on her face as he dragged her the opposite way of their fourth period, straight towards the school gate.

“Wait Sehun no, what are you doing?” she panicked.

He had a hint of anger in his voice as he continued to drag her past gate, “The reason why it’s not ridiculous, is because you’re not just a regular girl.”

Her heart fluttered, but continued to say nothing.

“You’re more than just that. You’re special. No one ever wishes on stars anymore, yet you, yes you, managed to summon 2 aliens to help your wish come true. You’re learning Korean, and you're pretty good at it. It’s even more impressive that you’re NOT Korean. Hell, who cares if you’re not Korean? I don’t. You’re cute. And you’re really sweet. You care a lot about your friends and the others around you, and you’re really clumsy-“ he turned to look at her, a tad bit less angry, a smile on his face.

“-But its adorable.”

They were walking on the sidewalk now, hand in hand.

Miyoung was silent as they walked, even more embarrassed than before. Her heart was pounding loud in her chest.

“The list goes on and on,” he blatantly added, “And I’ve only known you for what? 3 days?”

He stopped walking and turned to face her, a little embarrassed himself.

*I cannot belive I just said all that to her.*

She was silent at first, before finally asking in a tiny voice, “do you really think that?”

He blinked, “think what? That youre special?” She nodded. He looked down and muttered. “Of course I do.”

There was an awkward silence, neither knowing how to respond.

*Idiot. What now?*

He bit his lip, before smiling. “It’s the truth though. Now come on, let’s go!”

Sehun pulled Miyoung’s arm cheerfully, his signature dorky smile playing on his lips. She was dragged forward unwillingly, whining.

“Sehun, Sooyeon is going to kill me! Let’s go back!”

He shook his head and his long legs continued to stride forward.

“Where are we even going?” Miyoung huffed.

“You’ll see!” He cheerfully responded.

Minseok and Dahae sat besides one another, their ice cream cones happily. After somehow finding a way to sneak Xiumin out of school, Dahae suggested going to an ice cream parlor near by. Minseok, who was always hungry, cheerfully agreed, and by the next 20 minutes, the two had bought ice cream.

Xiumin his double chocolate fudge ice cream and turned to Dahae, “I bet Sehun made Miyoung ditch too. They’re probably leaving right about now.” It was so easy for him to talk to her. She always had funny responses too, he thought she was really fun to be around.

Dahae laughed and scooped a piece of her strawberry swirl. “Probably right. Miyoung wouldn’t be able to say no.”

Minseok tried not to laugh, Dahae had gotten ice cream all over her lips. He carefuly leaned over and brushed his thumb over her lips, wiping away the strawberry swirl. She blushed and the two were quiet, trying to find a way to escape the sudden awkwardness.

“I like being here, it’s so relaxing.” He finally said, turning his head towards the window.

“Really different from the fast paced life of an idol huh?”

He nodded, and Dahae couldn’t help but notice his nice profile. In EXO, he had always been her bias for his adorable baozi cheeks, but after getting to talk to him, she was relieved to find out he was just like any other guy out there.

Except for the fact he was fabulous in everyway.

He puffed out his cheeks and looked at her, causing her to squeal (in her mind). “I wish Sehun and I could stay here. Things in Korea and on EXO planet are always fast paced. Here, it’s slower but not super slow..I like it.”

She chuckled, “It’s not really slow, but I’m sure compared to Korea it isn’t as strict. I wouldn’t know about EXO planet cause you know..I’ve never been.”

She let out a gummy smile and he couldn’t help but smile, Dahae was so cute.

“EXO is a very peaceful planet. Nothing ever happens there.”

She tilted her head, “really? What did you guys do then? Sounds kinda boring.”

He took another of his ice cream and thought to himself, trying to find the right way to explain it. “Well. I've only visited once, and it was a long time ago. We didn’t really do much except train. On EXO, because there’s never war, everyone devotes their lives to being one with the tree of life. The Tree is where we get our powers,” he wiggled his fingers, “so if we visit we just go to school to train and learn about our history.”

Dahae nodded her head, before questioning, “Wait, what do you guys do after training then? Nothing?”

“Well, here’s the weird thing. It’s not that different from Earth. We have technology, but we don’t rely on it like you guys do. We don’t have all this toxic waste, we get all our energy from the sun and other methods, so it’s a lot cleaner. We still have jobs and what not like down here, but it’s a lot cleaner.”

“That makes sense.” She nodded cutely, trying to imagine this weird planet. He grinned, it was nice to be listened to, and Dahae always gave him her undivided attention.

He liked that.

He kept talking, starting to get excited. “The 12 of us first met when Junmyeon’s parents sent us to explore the world. His parents are good friends with everyone elses parents, and since they're fairly well off let us visit together. We wanted to know what it was like on EXO planet, so before we became trainees here, we went to EXO to train and became masters in our elements!”

Dahae smiled, when he spoke in such an excited way it was adorable. “So you’re all Elemental masters then?” She joked.

He laughed, “Yeah I guess you can say that. But we’re still fairly new, so compared to the elders, we know nothing. But I know enough,” he shrugged.

She nodded and finished off her bowl, contemplating. She smirked and wiggled her eyebrows, “wanna show me?”

Minseok raised his brow, “Is that a challenge?”

She laughed, “maybe.”

He feigned hurt and put a hand to his chest, “Gasp! You don’t think I’m a master!”

She grinned, “Did I break your heart? I’m sooo sorry.”

He pouted and got up off his stool, dragging Dahae outside.

“Challenge accepted!”

It was going to get a lot colder.
