Hoya's POV

 

*Flashback*

 

"Hoya, you gotta believe me, she's head over heels for you." SungJong tried to tell me.

"Listen, I'm about to graduate and go to ****** university, which I worked my off, I don't have time for your crap." I sighed.

"When did I ever lie to you?" he asked.

"Well, uhh.." I started.

"Exactly! Now, you can't tell ANYONE if  HyunJoo finds out I told you..." SungJong said, then shuttered.

"No worries." I smiled and walked up to get my diploma.

*end of flashback*

I woke up to my phone beeping.

I picked it up.

New message, read now?

I hit yes and it said,

Hoya! Today's the day! Did you get a reply from her yet?

Omo!

Today's the day all of the seniors are getting their acceptances!!

On that day I promised myself that if HyunJoo got accepted, I would take her out on a dream date then as her to be my girlfriend.

I replied:

It's waay too early to know

seconds later my phone beeped again and it was from SungJong.

Dude!! she made it!! she just texted me.

I jumped up and whooped.

I dialed her number and began picking out what to wear.

"Hello?" she answered.

"HyungJoo? It's me! Hoya!" I said all excited.

"Oh, hey." she replied.

"So are you doing anything, oh I don't know, all day?" I asked.

"Hold on, lettme check my schedule." she giggled.

"What do you know, I'm free!" she laughed.

"So I'll pick you up in an hour?" I said.

"Okay!!" she squealed.

*an hour later*

I pulled up to HyunJoo's house and honked the horn, just to be cute^^

She came out all excited.

I opened the passenger door for her and she got in.

"So what are we doing today?" she asked.

"It's a surprize!" I smiled.

"I just have a question..."she sighed.

"Shoot." I laughed.

"It's not funny!" she blushed.

"Okay okay! What do you want to ask me?" I said with a serious face.

"Why today, of all days you picked today." she laughed.

"Because today is a special day." I said and poked her cheek.

"How?" she asked.

"It's a secret." I whispered and put my finger over my mouth.

I pulled around to corner and we started what I hope will be the best day of my life.

The car ride was quiet due to looking at our surroundings, but peaceful.

I pulled into the parking lot of a park.

"No way! You still remember?" she asked.

"How could I not? This is where I punched SungJong in the nose for taking your lollipop." I laughed.

"And where you got stung by a bee because you were tring to pick your Umma a flower." she laughed.

"And where we both got bitten by a duck." I laughed.

"Oh yeah huh? Never been near a duck since!" she laughed.

"So are you ready?" I asked.

"For what?" she replied.

"To race me to the slide!" I laughed and swung open the car door.

"Cheater!" she squealed running after me.

I ran as fast as I could and reached the slide before her.

She was running her fastest but it was not fast enough!

Wait, why isn't she stopping?

"HyunJoo!" I yelled.

She jumped into my arms and I fell backwards.

I opened my eyes slowly to see my face inches from hers.

"Hi.." I muttered.

"Good after noon, cheater." she smirked.

She got up and ran to the swings.

"Push me!" she giggled.

"You are such a child." I sighed and got up.

"But you gotta love it!" she giggled and swung her legs.

I pushed her until she went higher and higher in the air.

"Yah! Oppa to high!!" she yelled.

I caught the swing and made it stop.

"Better?" I asked.

"Deh." she smiled.

"Wanna slide?" I asked.

"No, I'm hungry." she laughed.

"OKay, come on, I know a place." I said holding out my hand.

She took it hesitantly, and I sprinted to the car.

"Oppa! Too fast!" she yelled.

"No, you're just too slow." I smirked when we reached the car.

"Mwoh? Me?" she asked.

I nodded and opened the door for her.

"Where are you taking me now?" she asked as I got in the driver's seat.

"My favorite place." I smirked.

"Really? Where?" she smiled.

"Again, it's a secret." I laughed.

She pouted.

"Aww, don't be like that." I whined and pulled a little on her ear.

She stuck out her tounge at me,

"Fine, go ahead and be like that." I sighed.

"Oppa! I'm kidding!" she laughed.

"I know me too!" I laughed along with her.

I pulled to a corner cafe'.

"They have the BEST chicken kimchi." I said while nodding my head.

"Well, we'll just have to see." she smiled, poked my cheek,  and got out of the car.

Stunned by her actions I slowly got out of the car.

"Hey, Hoya, you coming?" she asked.

"Oh, yeah." I said snapping back to reality.

"Table for two?" the guy asked.

"Yes please." I nodded.

He guided us to our table and I pulled out HyunJoo's seat.

"That was....polite." she said, then laughed.

"What can I get you?" the guy asked HyunJoo.

"Two chicken kimchi's please." she smiled.

"And to drink." he asked, and flexed his arm while he was writing.

OMFG.

He flirting with my date.

"I'll just have a water.." she sighed.

"Two waters." I said.

"Got it." he said and walked away, without looking at me.

"He was flirting with me, and in front of my date!" she whispered loudly.

"Wait, this is a date, right?" she added.

"Why wouldn't it be?" I smiled warmly.

She blushed lightly.

"Here are your waters, and your chicken kimchi will be here in a few minutes." he said, looking at HYunJoo again.

"Thanks." she said looking at me.

"Hey, aer you doing anything tonight?" he asked.

"Actually yes, I'm going to be with him." she said, getting angry.

"And he's your boyfriend?" he asked.

"Oh, did you hear that?" she asked.

"Hear what?" he asked.

"They're calling for you in the back." she said.

"No they-" he started.

"Yes. They. Are." she said angry now.

He walked away, without saying anything else.

A different waitor brought us our food.

Ha, figures.

We ende up talking for about an hour after we were done eating.

"Umm, excuse me? If you're done, people are waiting to be seated." a waitress hinted.

"Oh, yeah sorry!" HyunJoo apoligized.

"THe bill?" I asked.

She handed it to me and I paid.

We walked to the car, embarassed.

Outside the sun was getting ready to set.

"Crap!" I yelled.

"Mwoh?" she asked.

"WE've got to go to the final place now!" I urged.

"Oh, okay." she said and quickly got in the car.

I stepped on the gas and hurried to the final place.

"Can I ask where we are going or is it a secret." she asked.

I just smiled, "We're almost there."

"Look, I can see the beach from here!" she giggled.

"Yup." I said and pulled into a parking lot that had a trail  that led to the shore.

"No way!" she giggled.

I nodded and got out to open her door.

She got out and bowed.

"Race you!" she giggled and ran towards the water.

I closed the door and ran after her.

I was geting closer and closer to her when, BAM!

The tide came in a knocked us over.

"Awww, I'm all wet." she shivered.

"Come on lets go over here." I said and pointed to a spot where a blanket was.

SHe nodded and followed.

I sat down, and she sat down next t me.

"Hey, look at the sunset! Isn't it pretty?" she asked.

"Ehh, I'm looking at something prettier." I said, looking at her.

She looked at me and realized what I meant.

"HyunJoo, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked.

She nodded and I leaned in slowly.

Our lips brushed each others jut as the ocean comlpletely consumed the sun.
