It was 1 in the morning and I was currently walking back home from my friends place. Why? Because for some damn reason my parents decided to call me in the middle of the night stating that they had something to tell me and it couldn’t wait till the next morning. Instead of being smart and coming to pick me up, since you know its one in the firkin morning, they decided I should walk home from my friends house. A thirty-minute walk at 1am can’t be that bad right? It’s not like I can be murdered or kidnapped. On the bright side, at least I have thirty minutes to brace myself for some sort of scolding. Like what could they possibly have to tell me that couldn’t wait till tomorrow or be said over the phone?
