It's Christmas.

Mino smiled bitterly as he heard laughter coming from Taehyun's room.

Taehyun and Seungyoon were just getting ready to have dinner with their families. The other members too, have other plans causing Mino to be the only one left in the dorm.

Mino thought about the past few weeks where he pushed Taehyun away causing Taehyun to now have drifted apart from him. He sighed as he stared at the closed door of Taehyun's room, feeling bitter at hearing them laugh.

"Guess I am not that important in his heart compared to Seungyoon" Mino sighed as he sat on the couch, staring at the blank TV screen.

Another lonely Christmas.

"Hyung! We are going out to meet our families, are you sure you are okay alone?" Taehyun voiced out as he stared at Mino, seemingly looking distracted as he stared at the blank TV screen.

Mino wanted to say that he wasn't alright being alone, that he wanted to spend their first Christmas with Taehyun together but instead he replied with a "Yeah".

When the maknaes were about to leave, Mino hoped that Taehyun would not go and instead would ask if he could stay behind. Instead the door closed, sealing his fate that he would have to spend Christmas alone again.

"Might as well eat dinner and go to bed early, since nobody is spending Christmas with me again." Mino then got up and walked to the kitchen wanting to make some ramen for dinner.

"Hyung never ever cook again! Your cooking !" Mino then remembered what Taehyun always said to him whenever he offered to cook ramen for them.

He did not know since when he grew so attached to the boy with droopy eyebrows. He was afraid, afraid that the guy will break past his walls he had built up after countless of setbacks he went through in the past. However Mino knew that Taehyun had already crawled himself into his heart, no matter how hard he tried to push Taehyun away, his heart still had a special place for him.

Even though Mino always had a smile on his face, he was lonely and sad inside.

None of the members knew that.

A beautiful Christmas

"Ah, Hyung I knew you would be alone." The front door opened and Taehyun stood at the doorstep, fumbling with the lock. "No one should spend Christmas alone."

Mino was in shock, he had just finished his ramen and was flipping through the channels finding something nice to watch when the front door opened. He was surprised that Taehyun would actually leave early from his dinner just to come back and check on him.

"Hyung can I celebrate our first Christmas together with you?" Taehyun shyly asked as he stared into Mino's eyes. "I bought cake."

"Why are you here?" Mino asked, still in shock.

"I wanted to spend Christmas with you... Is it alright?" Taehyun said as he looked down at his hands feeling embarrassed.

"Maybe it's alright to let him in for just today." Mino thought as he gestured Taehyun over to sit with him on the couch.

Taehyun then smiled and plumped himself on the couch beside Mino. Taehyun then took out the cake from the box and lighted some candles along too.

"Merry Christmas Hyung!" Taehyun smiled at Mino.

"You too Taehyun-ah" Mino smiled back and stared at the perfection sitting right beside him.

"I wanted to celebrate Christmas with you too" Mino whispered.

Taehyun heard him and was touched that Mino wanted to spend Christmas with him. Taehyun was fretting over the past few weeks as he felt that Mino seemed to ignore him everytime he spoke to him. His eyebrows drooped even further, thinking back on how cold Mino was towards him the past few days and felt upset as he thought he did something to make Mino distance himself from him.

Taehyun then decided to gather his courage and hug the tanned boy beside him.

"Hyung thanks for letting me in again" Taehyun mumbled.

He missed being in Mino's arms so much, the warmth that radiates from Mino's body warms up Taehyun's heart. "Hyung I missed you."

"I missed you too, Tae-ah" Mino also missed hugging Taehyun. He missed how he and Taehyun were so close before.

It's the 25th of December.

The Christmas that Mino finally felt that he had someone special to spend with.

The Christmas that caused Taehyun to voice out his inner thoughts.

The Christmas that brought the two boys back together.

It's not a lonely Christmas anymore.
