As a Sone, I was quite surprised to hear about Seung Gi and Yoona dating. But at the same time I was elated!
Don't get me wrong i am a TwinTrooper and YoonYul is my OTP, but from the very beginning, I have known that YoonYul was merely a part of my fantasy and imagination. Yoona and Yuri were just really good friends, perhaps to the point were they can call each other soulmates, but they weren't really together nor would they ever be together.
So when I saw Seun Gi first on Strong Heart and saw his very cute and innocent interaction with Yoona, I couldn't help but smile. ^^
Many celebrities have pointed out as Yoona being their ideal type, but Seung Gi has repeatedly and has been stating her as his ideal type for years. He has been loyal and I couldn't help but be happy for Yoona. She finally had someone who doesn't use her name or her face as a safe answer. I thought she finally found someone who's kind, charming, and would treat her right. Sadly they weren't dating at the time and I let that dream go down its pits.
However yesterday, I believe that Yoona got the best gift she could ever receive. As a young and maturing young woman it is logical to want boyfriend. But as a celebrity she needed one to fit with her image and someone she genuinely liked.
