On 7:30 in the morning, people usually walk on the street, drive their car to work, walk to school, and stop at the coffee shop to get their breakfast or drinks peacefully. But today is an exception…

“Stop!! I said stop!! Yahhhhh” a girl with glasses and hair tied up in a messy bun is running after a middle-aged man who’s hugging a purse tightly while running away from the petite girl with widening eyes

Other people around them look concerned that the petite girl dared to run and try catching a thief by herself, what if she get hurt by the thief or by her fast speed in running?

“I’m crazy if I stop” the man turned to tell her and continue to run

“Hah ok. You asked for it, old man” the girl fastened her step and got to catch up with him in just 10 secs

“Hah hah hah got cha” she laughed evilly while holding his wrist tightly then with her fast movement, she managed to kick his waist and pinned him to the ground by her own strength

“Wooooooooow” people started to awed over her action

“Ahhhhhhhhh” the thief screamed in pain after being caught

“Omo omo thank you” a young lady, maybe aound 23 or 24 stops running while panting beside the girl and thief

“No problem” the girl handed the thief over to the police men that just arrived and picked up the purse. She gave it back to the woman with a sweet smile plaster on her face.

“Here, your purse”

“Thank you for helping me. My name is MeiLi, what’s yours?” The young woman held her hand out for a handshake

HyunMi’s POV

“Mine is HyunMi” I replied back to the rich looking woman in front of me and shook her hand. Her purse looked to be really expensive and might contain a lot of money too, I guess.

I saw MeiLi rummaged in her black purse for a few secs then pulled out a bunch of check. She wrote something on it then hand it to me. I took it from her in curiousity.

“I know this is not much but I want to give you, it’s the least I can do” She put her pen and check back while I was gasping and opening my mouth widely at the amount written on the check. Who wouldn’t be? It’s a 1,000,000 won check for heaven’s sake. That’s a lot for me. I could buy my clothes for school, books, and other necessary with this check. But…

“I’m sorry but I can’t accept it. I helped because I want to not because I wanted something back” I handed the check to her back

“But-” she started but I cut her off

“It’s ok. Although I look poor and it’s true but I won’t take money from you” I said and gave a smile

She looked at me in disbelief and was going to protest but I cut her again

“Oh, it’s almost time for my school gate to close. I’m going to be late. Bye unnie, see you” I bid goodbye to her and run to my school direction.

“Hey HyunMi-ah, thank”  MeiLi shouted behind my back while I just wave my right hand and continue to run before I’ll be seriously late and get detention.

I ran with a really fast speed that I suddenly bumped with a wall which made me fell down on my quite hardly. Ouch, my precious . Aigoo

“Yahhh can’t you watch where you are going?” a man voice shouted making me looked up to see a very handsome, tall, gorgeous man standing in fr
