“Yah! This is all your fault!” I shouted, unable to hide the whine from my voice as I jabbed a finger at Jaehwan’s chest and then pointed to the locked door. We’d managed to find the light switch after ten minutes of searching in the dark and it illuminated the storage room of gym equipment as well as the look on Jaehwan’s face. With the lights on, our grumbles had turned into an argument, fueled by us being able to see each other.

“My fault!” He shouted, glaring back at me, “You’re the one that decided it would be a smart idea to come back here to help ‘clean’.” His hand came up to do air quotes before he looked away from me to kick a floor mat. “I’m sure you just wanted to be near Hakyeon hyung.” He said his hyung’s name with an edge to it.

I glared at his back as he stayed turned away from me. He couldn't see me but I’d crossed my arms over my chest, settling down on a few boxes of gym equipment. I knew if I stared at his figure any longer, I wouldn’t be able to stay mad at him. Due to his always chipper mood, Jaehwan hardly got angry and the way his back muscles moved as he lightly punched whatever was in front of him was seriously startling to get to me.

I hated that Hakyeon oppa had caught on that I’d liked Jaehwan. I’d like him for a while now, probably as long as I’d known the small group of boys. I was the cousin of Park Hyoshin, the senior’s class President, but since my parent’s weren’t in the picture, I lived with his family. It resulted in me seeing a lot of Hakyeon and Taekwoon oppa around the house while doing last minute committee meetings. Hakyeon was the Vice President and Taekwoon rarely left his boyfriend’s side even though he wasn’t a committee member. Jaehwan was in my class, so I saw him all the time, but the others were younger and in charge of their own groups, however, that didn’t stop them all from joining the only club I was in; dance.

Being around them constantly resulted in a lot of stupid tricks such as this one. The real reason I’d come back was to help Jaehwan clean up the gym, not Hakyeon, but it seemed that Jaehwan seemed otherwise. It made me wonder if he was jealous. The simple thought made butterflies erupt in the pit of my stomach.
