Sohyun comes running towards Ljoe at a cafe.

 

Sohyun : You're early. Mianhaeyo for being late. I have some work to do.

 

Ljoe : Gwenchana. I just arrive here anyway. What are you holding?

 

Sohyun look at the thing in her hands.

 

Sohyun : Oh.. these? These are chocolate.. for you.

 

Sohyun gives the chocolate to Ljoe.

 

Ljoe : For me? Woah, it loos delicious! Gomawo, Sohyun.

 

Sohyun : I'm glad you like it. Oh yes. Why did you ask to meet here?

 

Ljoe looks at Sohyun for a second.

 

Ljoe : Sohyun, I have somehing to say. That's why I call you come here.

 

Sohyun : What is it?

 

Ljoe : L-let's stop seeing each other.

 

Sohyun is surprise with Ljoe's sudden outburst.

 

Sohyun : W-w-waeyo? Did I do something wrong?

 

Ljoe : Aniyo. You did nothing wrong. I...I am getting married.

 

Sohyun : Married? You? To who?

 

Ljoe : Someone pretty, rich and nice.

 

Sohyun feels  tears forming in her eyes but she tries to hold it in.

 

Sohyun : Do I mean nothing to you? At all??

 

Ljoe : You are just a friend, a close friend.

 

Sohyun burst into tears and runs outside the cafe.

 

Ljoe chase after her and grab her hand.

 

Ljoe : Sohyun, what's wrong? Why are you crying?

 

Ljoe wipes Sohyun's tears but Sohyun push him away.

 

Sohyun : Get away from me. I don't want to see your face.

 

Sohyun walks away from Ljoe.

 

Ljoe goes back into the cafe.

 

He looks at the chocolate that Sohyun gave him.

 

There's a card beside it.

 

Ljoe reads it quietly.

Dear Ljoe,

this is my last present for you. I hope you like it. Chocolate is your favourite food, right? 

You have been a wonderful friend to me but.. I have something to tell you. You might not know this, though.

I really like you a lot. I mean more than just a friend. At on point, I think that I love you because I feel worried when you're sick, feel happy to see you smile, feel comfortable when you're around but above all, I think my heart beats fast whenever I'm with you.

Is it love? I don't know if you feel the same way. That's why I can't tell you directly.

Oh by the way, I'm going to New York tomorrow. Take care. Goodbye Ljoe.

Ljoe feels bad telling her to stop meeting him.

 

He regrets his words that were blurted out.

 

'Sohyun, mianhae.'

 

'I really didn't know that you love me that much. Sorry for not realising it earlier.'

 

'I feel empty and sad all of a sudden. Do I love Sohyun?'

 

Ljoe thinks about his wedding date.

 

'Isn't the wedding.. tomorrow too?'

 

'Sohyun is leaving tomorrow. Ottoke?'

 

Tomorrow arrives so soon.

 

 

Sohyun is busy preparing for her flight to New York.

 

She packs her things well and finds a picture of her with Ljoe.

 

 

'Oh its a picture of me and Ljoe. We were so happy back then. Today he's getting married. I guess its the end of us.'

 

Sohyun tore the pictures to pieces.
