Taeyeon barely got any sleep at all. For one, Tiffany who is sleeping next to her kept whimpering and crying in her sleep and when she tries to shake and wake the latter, it would either be Tiffany left in a daze as if not knowing what is going on or she would just cry silently and shake her head as she mumble and pleaded continuously. 

Another, her mind is scattered thinking about the company she co-owns and the company of her so-called father, her resignation that she is planning to submit in a few days and the wrath and issues she might be facing afterwards, and then there's Tiffany and her determination to help her girlfriend to be freed from her past and her nightmares. It was too much. But she wanted to deal with everything just to make sure that Tiffany and her will be safe from everyone haunting them down.

Taeyeon carefully loosened the tight grip Tiffany has on her as she sat up leaning on the headboard. Then, she took Tiffany's hand and held on to it, caressing it with her thumb as she slowly reached over the nightstand drawer taking a small box out.

Taeyeon smiled at the sleeping figure next to her as she opened the small box that was now in her hand. She stared at it and slowly took one out of it. She carefully put it close to Tiffany's hand.

"This would look really good on you right? You'll love it right?" Taeyeon said quietly as she played with it with her fingers. 

Taeyeon then took out the other one from the box and had both in her palm. 

Taeyeon was walking around the mall the morning after her late night talk with Sunny when something caught her eye. 

She went inside the store and looked around for that one particular one that she saw outside.

"How can I help you ma'am?" The saleslady asked.

"Ah. The one being advertised on that poster, I want to see it." Taeyeon answered back.

"Sure ma'am. This way please." The saleslady leads Taeyeon over to one of the glass displays on one corner.

Taeyeon looked at that one particular one that caught her eyes. "Can I look closely at that one?" She pointed out.

"Certainly ma'am. One second please." The lady unlocked the display shelf and passed on to Taeyeon the one that she pointed out.

Taeyeon's eyes twinkled as she let her imagination run. "I would like to purchase this but do you also have one with a blue stone in it?"

"Yes ma'am. We do have one with blue stones in it as well."

"Can i take a look at it as well?" Taeyeon asked as she passed back the item to the one assisting her.

"This way please."

Indeed, there is one with blue stones as well. Pink and blue. "Perfect." Taeyeon said with a smile on her face.

"I'll take both rings, one with the pink stones, the other with the blue ones." Taeyeon eagerly said.

"Okay ma'am. Would you like to have something engraved on it?"

"Ah. Hmmmm. Sure but let me think for a minute please." 

The lady assisting her left her to give her some space and time to think of what she would want to be engraved on it.

"Excuse me, I got it. Do you want me to write it down?"

The lady said yes and gave Taeyeon a piece of paper. "How long do I have to wait to get it?" Taeyeon asked as she paid for the rings.

"We would give you a call ma'am. But, it shouldn't take that long. A week would be long enough but most likely in just a few days."

"Okay. Thanks." 

Taeyeon left the store with a smile on her face, thinking about Tiffany. And, the day Yuri and Jessica were to leave for their trip, Taeyeon got a call from the store saying her order were ready to be picked up anytime. And that's what she did before she came to their home to prepare dinner for the two of them.

Taeyeon was brought back to reality when she heard Tiffany muttering her name. She hurriedly put the rings back in its box and back to the drawer.

"Taeyeon.... Taeyeon, p-please.... P-please don't leave me. P-please... Help.... H-Help me...." Tiffany kept muttering in her sleep, her arms stretched out as if trying to reach onto something or someone, begging, crying and asking for help. 

Taeyeon felt her heart breaking as she saw the love of her life in such condition. She gently shook Tiffany and called out for her name softly as she slid her body back down to hug and hold Tiffany closer to her.

"Fany-ah, wake up. Wake up, my angel. It's just a dream. I'm here. I will never leave you, Tiffany. Never." Taeyeon could feel herself tearing up as she doesn't know how to help Tiffany. She doesn't know what triggered her nightmares again and she would not stop until she gets to the bottom of it so she can put a stop on it.

Tiffany slowly fluttered her eyes open, still b with tears "Tae-Taeyeon ah..." Tiffany called out as she clutched tighter onto Taeyeon as if her life is depending on it. She continued to cry as she felt Taeyeon's arms tighten around her, whispering to her, comforting her.

Few moments later, Tiffany has calmed down. "Are you okay? Want to tell me?" Taeyeon asked as she continued to hold Tiffany close to her and kissed the side of Tiffany's head. 

Tiffany wrapped her arms around Taeyeon tightly as she pressed her body closer to Taeyeon, not wanting any space or gap between the two of them. She was holding Taeyeon like she never wanted to let go. And that is what she really wanted to do, never to let go of Taeyeon no matter what.

As the minute passes by, Tiffany's grip were getting tighter and tighter that it is alarming to Taeyeon. "Hey, hey. I'm not going anywhere, okay? It's okay to let go or loosen up your hold, angel. I'm not going anywhere, I promise you that. I promise." Taeyeon said as she rubs Tiffany's back.
