Haneul is a girl who is studying abroad in South Korea from the United States. She stays in a dorm at Baekseok High School, the school she attends. Her parents forced her to go and leave her friends behind so all she can think about is the day she graduates high school and returns home. She couldn't care less about her grades or what people think of her because in a few years, she will never see her classmates again. Despite having many friends back at home, she is lonely in Korea and tries to hide it from everyone.

But what happens when she meets a boy who is the first to win her friendship? And the first to win her heart? How will she face the fear of starting something new when she knows she wont be able to finish it?
