Beta groaned, his eyes wide.
“Shh…people will hear us,” Code murmured, his hand over Beta’s mouth.
“Ahhh, Code…what are you…?” Beta closed his eyes, trying to move away.
Code clicked his tongue, pulling Beta back towards him. “We’re almost done. Don’t worry.”
“Mmmmm,” Beta moaned, leaning heavily against Code.
“And…voila!” Code said with a flourish, pulling his hand back. “Finally you’ll be silent.”
As Code shut the door behind him, he twirled the roll of duct tape on his finger, smiling maniacally.
