It's funny how the mind associates things with other things. How I associate the smell of peppermint to the scent of his skin or how the color of raspberries remind me of the taste of his lips. Out of all of us, I was the last one named in our list. I didn't expect for it to happen this quickly either but the moment I saw him holding it out his pockets, the way his eyes lit with passion and the willingness to explore the world beside me, I knew what my answer was going to be and I suppose it was easy to tell by the way tears streamed down my face. I've never felt so grateful. If anyone else were to kiss me now, all they would taste is his name on my lips. I've never loved 'til my hands shook with happiness, 'til my lips twitched with excitement. It was that kind of feeling that made me think, 'absolutely. absolutely yes'.

So be the one to hold my hand on my special day, my best friend, my sister, my free councelor. You girls have to make sure you-know-who (do I have to add a cough in here or what) doesn't hit on the dj and please tell me whenever my mascara gets smudged. Finally, will one of you please hold my dress as I pee? If you still haven't gotten a hint to what I'm saying, check the mail and open that vintage gold envelope. Go on, read it. Now you know? Good.
