Myungsoo sighed as he looked around in boredom. There wasn't much to do since it was one of those free days they rarely had. Spying his favourite bamboo pillow in the corner of the room, he crawled over slowly before settling down again, this time hugging it as he did so. Soft scuffling sounds of footsteps could be heard as he laid down on the floor, and looking up, the visual saw their maknae gathering the clothes from the laundry baskets. 

"Wow our Sungjongie's being hardworking!" Myungsoo teased as he watched with a wide smile.

"Yah hyung, I'm always hardworking if you haven't noticed. Besides, what choice do I have when I'm always given the laundry work to do on our-oh-so-called-free-days?" Sungjong retorted as he paused in his work, his nose scrunching up slightly as a pungent wave hit him. 

"What do you mean by oh-so-called-free-days? I'm as free as I could ever be." Myungsoo replied casually as he hugged his pillow tighter. "Sungjongie, what do I remind you of?" He asked as he looked up at the younger again. 

Appearing to think for a moment, Sungjong replied, "A pineapple, just like I said before." 

Hearing this, the visual went back to his thoughts before speaking. "I don't want to be like a pineapple. I'm not prickly." 

A small laugh escaped Sungjong, and turning to his hyung, he replied, "Then what do you want to be? A weird human, wait alien, who hugs bamboo pillows? But you are prickly, appearing so cold all the time." 

Giving a sharp glare in return, Myungsoo retorted, "I am not cold nor prickly! And definitely not a weird alien!" Thinking again, he continued, "I want to be a koala bear!" 

Bursting out into laughter at this statement, Sungjong slowly caught his breath before replying, "Hyung, a... a koala bear? But that's... that's like the exact opposite of you! Koala bears are warm and cuddly, but you're-" Unable to continue, Sungjong started laughing once again.

Slightly agitated, Myungsoo sat up. "Come here, Lee Sungjong! I'll show you that I'm just like a koala bear!" 

Surprised, Sungjong watched Myungsoo's expression, causing him to burst out into laughter again at his seriousness.

"Hyung! I was just saying-" Sungjong started before he was interrupted.

"Come here and sit down!" Myungsoo demanded with a straight face.

Now shocked by the sudden change in tone, Sungjong quietly sat down. 

"Hyung-" 

Silence filled the room as Sungjong sat still, speechless and surprised by Myungsoo's sudden move. He had pulled forward, hugging the younger.

"Myungsoo hyung..." Sungjong started before trailing off when he felt the hug tighten.

"Aren't I like a koala bear, Sungjong? Koala bears hug their branches for a long long time until they go out to hunt for food. I'm not prickly, right? I'm warm and cuddly, just like a koala bear, aren't I?" Myungsoo asked with a playful smile.

"Y-yes hyung, yo-you're just like one. Now, let me go so I can go back to my laundry." Sungjong barely spluttered out as he tried to keep his composed self.

Noticing the visual had indeed let go, Sungjong let out a breath he had been holding. Turning around to get up, he let out a small shout when he felt strong arms pull him back again, trapping him in their embrace again.

"Sungjongie, didn't you know? Koala bears are very very attached to their branches. In fact, they can stay there the whole day. Now let this koala bear here rest on his free day." Myungsoo announced as he laid his head down on Sungjong's back.

"But-" 

"Koala bears get angry when they can't sleep, so shush." Myungsoo said as he cut the younger's words off. 

Silence followed again as Sungjong tried his best to stay still, not daring to move a muscle. Peeking up with one eye open, Myungsoo smiled widely as he snuggled Sungjong tighter.
