Never Say GoodBye (Reply 1996)(HIATUS )
Seoul, 2014
The story begins in Seoul, year 2014. One of our main characters, Kim HyoYeon is
unpacking a few of her personal things from a small box in her brand new house, where
a housewarming party is going on, downstairs. As she picked up her old diary, a picture
drops from it, but she does not see it, until her bestfriend Kwon Yuri walks in and picks up
the picture.
"Hey Hyo, you still have this picture?" Yuri asked showing the picture to her. In the picture,
the is her, Yuri, along with their other seven other friends, on the first day of the new school
year.
"Yeah, I kept it, because I lost many of the other ones." HyoYeon answered grabbing the
picture form Yuri's hands." It was really fun, that day."
"It was, I miss being a high school student and a teenager with freedom." Said Yuri who
was pacing back and forth with a drink in her hand.
"What are you two doing up here?" A male voice said walking into the room.
"Just looking at old pictures." HyoYeon said
"Well, SeoHyun is looking for you guys, she thought you guys ran away or something." The
male said before throwing something at HyoYeon who caught it right away."Hurry up and
come downstairs, bye." He added before turning on his heels and walking away. While
looking through the box, Yuri finds another picture this time is of her, HyoYeon, their seven
friends and eleven guys.
"Hey, I remember this." She said. The story flashes back to the past.
September 15, 1996.
Fall of 2004, was a very beautiful one, with the brown leaves and the cool weather. Its the
season full of many bright colors. At exactly 8:30 A.M, nine beautiful girls steps out of three
different cars, right in front of the prestigious and private high school, Seoul Arts Academy.
They linked arms with each other as they make their way into the school. After getting their
schedule from the main office, they were looking at it when they heard a male voice and the
only blonde among the nine girls is the first to turn around, follow by her eight friends. In front
of them stood eleven handsome guys, who all had big grins or more likely smirks on each
of their faces.
"You ladies, look beautiful today." The tallest of the eleven guys said. He was very tall, that
when one of the girls stood next to him, they felt like ants,and also intimated especially with
his cold appearance.
"You are in such a good mood today, Kris." His female counterpart said hugging him, while
the eight other girls did the seem.
"I must say, you rock heels, Hyo." The darkest guy said with his arm around the blonde's waist.
"I did not even want to wear heels, it was Tiffany turns to chose what we wore for the first day of
school." HyoYeon said pouting.
"We should take a picture." Tiffany said and she took a camera out of her bag and handed it to
her boyfriend, Chen.
"Why me?" He asked
"Just give it to me." ChanYeol said taking the camera which was pink, from Chen and the girls
posed before he took the picture and showed it to them.
"I look beautiful." Yuri complimented herself when she saw the picture.
"We are going to be late." SeoHyun said and everyone turn their attention to her, before they
began running to home room.
Senior Class, Homeroom.
I guess you could say that luck was on their sides, when the ten students ran into home room
just before the Homeroom teacher arrived.
"I have to thank SeoHyun later." TaeYeon said turning around in her seat to face BaekHyun who
was too busy playing with his phone to look up at her.
"For what?" He ask
"For saving our butts from being late." TaeYeon answered before grabbing his phone from his
hands. This causes him to finally look at her, but this is only to glare at her.
"Give it back." He said in a warning voice
"Oh, I am so scare."
"Yah, Kim Taeyeon, gave him back his phone, before he gets angry." Said Sunny who was sitting
on the right side of BaekHyun.
"They always have to fight on the first day of school." Kris said glaring at the two of them while
Jessica head was rested on his shoulders.
"You don't scare me." Both TaeYeon and BaekHyun said together.
"You two are so annoying, this is why you are a couple." Chen said and they both stuck their
tongues out at him, as a way to say they didn't really care. As soon as their teacher walked into
class, TaeYeon turn around in her seat, before the female teacher started to call names for
attendance. Everyone was present.
Junior Class, Homeroom.
After attendance was called, the students were allowed to talk.Yuri, HyoYeon, and their friends
were talking about their summer, since the boys went to Japan for three weeks. Yuri's hands
were intertwined with Tao, who had earphones in his ears, with his eyes closed.
"You girls didn't meet other guys, while we were away did you?" Kai asked
"Of course we did, we had so much fun without you guys." Yuri and HyoYeon said at the same
time teasingly.
"That's not what Yoong said in her text. She said you girls were missing us, very much." Sehun
said and Yoona glared at him.
"This is why she is a good actress." SooYoung said eating a bag of chips, like always.
"We will talk later, Im Yoona." HyoYeon said glaring at the doe-eyed girl who just pouted.
"Sorry, I have an appointment." She said
"What appointment?" Yuri asked knowing that she was lying.
"To make out with SeHun." She said and her friends were so shocked that they drop the things
in their hands, which happened to be their phones.
"Yah, Im Yoona, I did not make such appointments with you?" Sehun said glaring at his girlfriend,
who was regretting what she had said.
"Kai, what did you do?" HyoYeon ask glaring at the guy whose hands were around her waist.
"Why do you always have to think that it was me?" He asked."Its not I told her to make out with
SeHun, like we do almost everyday." He added. As soon as the words left his mouth, he got up
right away and began to run.
"Kim JongIn, you are so dead." HyoYeon said before she chased after him, just at the bell ranged,
for the end of Homeroom. The rest of the gang follow them to their first classroom.
Lunch
After going through all of their class's for the morning, it was finally lunch time. Since it was still
warm outside, they were allowed to have lunch at the outside cafeteria. Being the most popular
and richest students in Seoul Arts Academy, they were the only one allowed to sit at the most
unique table in the inside and outside cafeteria. As soon as they sat down, they were given menus
to order food. After looking through the menus for a few minutes, they call the waitress back and
gave her their orders before she walked away.
"Hey, Seo, you okay?" LuHan asked the girl sitting next to him, who was way too quiet.
"Yeah I am okay, LuHan oppa." She said with a smile. She grabbed his hands and squeezed,
telling him not to worry. Ten minutes later, the waitress arrived with their foods.
"Little brother, why are you sitting next to me?" Taeyeon asked her younger brother.
"Hyo, is trying to kill me." He quietly said
"What did you do, to her?" TaeYeon ask earning a glare from him.
"Forget it." He said and he began to eat, making sure to not have eye contact with HyoYeon who
was sitting right across from him.
"SeoHyun why are you still so quiet." Tiffany asked the maknae.
"I said is nothing."
"Are you by any chance feeling jealous, that Lu Han is a senior, and the is a chance that he is
going to be nominated for homecoming king?" Jessica ask
"No, I am not." SeoHyun said trying not to look at Lu Han who was staring at her, the whole time.
"Oh, yes you are, but don't worry, maybe Taeng, will win homecoming queen. She is your unnie,
so you don't have to feel jealous." Yoona said with a warm smile.
"You, forgot that BaekHyun does not like sharing his girlfriend."Jessica said with a smirk."I am
sure, that SeoHyun does not want to share her boyfriend either."
"Of course I don't." She said the words to quickly without realizing it." I am going to head to class,
first." She said getting up quickly before walking away fast.
"See you guys later." Lu Han said getting up to follow her. When he reached her, he placed his arm
around her and they walked back into the school, as their friends watched them.
"That was so much, fun." Yuri said clapping, at the fact of how easy Jessica can crack people. She
turned to her left side to see Tao, staring at her as though she was crazy."Don't say it."
"I wasn't, so whatever." He said before going back to eating his lunch.
"Why are you in such a crabby, mood?" Yuri ask.
" I am not in a crabby mood, woman." Tao said almost yelling.
"Okay, if you say so." Yuri said in quiet voice going back to her lunch.
"Yuri-ah, don't be mad." Tao said when he noticed that the girl was about to cry.
"Yuri, stop being so sensitive." Jessica said in an icy voice.
"Shut it, Jessica." Tao said, when suddenly Yuri started to laugh.
"I am an amazing actress, you actually fell for that, Tao." She said in between laughs, while Tao
just glared at her.
"You two make me sick." Tiffany said to Xiu Min who was feeding Sunny.
"You can just ask Chen to feed you." Sunny said
"He is in the Music room, dummy." Tiffany said pouting.
"Well jealousy isn't a good thing." Sunny said, just as Tiffany was about to say something back,
Kai spoked.
"Woman, if you are going to yell at me, do it now. I don't like the fact that you keep staring at me like
that, it feels like you want to burn a hole through my head."
"What is wrong with you, dude?" Xiu Min ask
"He got in trouble with her, during Homeroom." ChanYeol answered
"You are so weird. Shut the hell up, I am trying to eat and pick a date for cheerleading
tryouts." HyoYeon said not even giving him a glance.
"Oh, thought you were still mad at me." He said
"Its useless to stay mad at someone." She said with a warm v-smile, but her friends and Kai
knew that wasn't the case. She lean over the table and fixed his hair, when she did this, he stood
there frozen."But don't worry, I will still get you back later, not today, not tommorrow, but one day." She
said, before she stood up along with Yuri, SooYoung and Yoona and they made their way back
into school.
"I'm scare." He said in a silent voice.
"This makes me laugh, every time." Sunny said laughing while staring at the poor younger guy, who
looked like he had seen a ghost.
"You started it, so you must deal with it, yourself." SuHo said patting the poor guy back and then he
added. " Be happy, she didn't kiss you this time." As soon, as he said that, HyoYeon came back.
"I forgot my goodbye, kiss." She said planting a kiss on his cheeks, before walking back into school again.
"I can wait, to see what she does to you, this time." D.O said
"I though, you were my best friend?" Kai ask, shaking.
"You know, she gets mad, easily and you are the one that always gets her mad, so deal with the
consequences too." Kris said.
Though HyoYeon looked like an innocent, talented, and athletic girl, who is both beautiful inside and out,
she can be very scary, when she wants to, especially when someone messes with her, on a day she isn't
already in a good mood.
Back To The Present.
"That was so funny. He was so scare for the whole entire day." Yuri said as they both began to laugh.
"Hyo and Yul, you guys need to come down." A voice called from downstairs.
"Let's go, before SeoHyun comes for us." HyoYeon said linking arm with Yuri before they walked
out of the room and down the stairs. When they get downstairs, HyoYeon sees two guys, she walked
towards the both of them and gave them a hug. One of the guys, pulls her with him to dance, when a
slow song starts to play.
"I must say, you look beautiful tonight, as always." He said with a charming smile.
"Thanks, you don't look bad yourself." She replied as he placed his hands around her skinny waist.
"I know, be happy that you are married to me." She hit his arm, when a slow song, started to play, she frown.
"You know I don't like slow songs." She said as they started to slow dance.
"I thought that, you started to like it." He said.
"Well, I don't." She said
"Please, no arguments tonight." He kisses her forehead, before going for her lips, but before he
could kiss her, a little girl runs up to them.
"Mommy, Daddy, Lauren took my pink head band." The little girl said
"You know she likes pink like you." HyoYeon said." Don't cry, learn to share."
"But, mommy." The little girl whined.
"Come on, now, you don't want me to take away all your toys now, do you?" The guy asked.
"No, daddy." She said. He bend down, and placed a kiss on the little girls forehead, before she ran
back to where she had came from. And he stood up, putting his hands back around her waist. "Now
where were we?" He asked with a smirk before capturing her lips in a long sweet kiss.
Chapter 2 Teaser.
To make sure that she wasn't seeing things, Yuri closed her eyes, but when she opened it,
she still saw the brunet guy, who had a charming smile on her face staring down at her.
"What the hell, are you doing here?" She asked
"I am the new student, Yul." He answered still smiling.
"I can see that. How did you know that we were going to this school?"
"I got my ways of finding out things." He said, when suddenly Yuri phone ranged. She took
it out of her pocket, to see HyoYeon's name on the screen, before she could answer, the
guy grabbed the phone from her hands, and answer it instead."Hello, Hyoraengi, I have
missed you so much."
"O.M.G" HyoYeon voice said
