Description

Foreword
I hate him so much.
He, who always ranked first, was smarter than me.
He, who always gained affection from the adults, was said to be perfection.
He, who my parents loved and adored, took my spot as their child away from me.
He, who always seemed to beat me at everything, was more skillful and talented.
He, who was popular with the girls and boys, is the person I hate most in this world.

I gave up a long time ago, when he won for the millionth time. Whatever I tried, whatever I changed, I could never beat him. Not once have I gotten even close to first place. So I gave up. It was my only resolution. It made me happy.
He moved next door when we were very young, four years old. I vowed never to forget that day: July 17, 1999. It was the day that he basically took my parents away from me, my best friend and my childhood. I always tried to overcome him, to prevail, but it never worked. Everything that I studied for, trained for, and worked for always seemed to fall short by the time he tries. But that’s the point: he doesn’t even try.
He’s a prodigy, a genius, he’s the freaking dictionary. He could just lift a finger and everything would go right where he wanted it. He doesn’t even try, and that’s what I hate most about him. Being praised and adored should come when you actually try, like I do, but all he does is smile and the whole world fawns over him.
He knew Chinese, Korean, English, and Japanese and spoke all of them fluently whereas I only spoke Korean and English fluently. He knew how to play the piano, guitar, compose music, and he could sing whereas I only knew how to play the piano. He was popular among the girls and boys whereas I only had five to nothing friends that weren’t really friends at all. He was very well mannered and knew right from wrong while I only wronged and wasn’t “properly trained”.
Do you see the difference between me and him now?
He stole everything from me. He teased me. He treated me like I was a child. And I had enough. I wasn’t going to prove him wrong, no; I am too tired to try again. He can bask in glory all he wants because I. Give. Up.
I'm going to try and see if I can write a chapter and update.
Not like I finished writing the whole thing and then upload it one by one, I want to see if I am consistent and loyal to my word.
