Donghae and Jessica are together for almost 8 years.

 

They are famous highschool sweethearts back then.

 

They we're also used to be 'King and Queen  of the Night" during their prom and holds the title for 4 years (2 in Highschool, 2 in College).

 

The couple graduated college 2 years ago.

 

They are both each others' first love.

 

They live together in an apartment.

Jessica and Donghae are walking together in the park.

 

Jessica felt Donghae is uneasy.

 

"Oppa, why are you like that?"

 

"Like what Sica?"

 

"You look uneasy"

 

"U-uuh, nevermind me"

 

"oppa are you sure?"

 

"Yeah yeah"

 

"You aren't sick right ?"

Time pass by as they stroll down the park.

Donghae was getting tense and tense.

 

Today he plans to propose to Jessica.

After a month of secret preparation for one of his most important day in his life, it finally ends and they'll start a new life together as husband and wife. 

Without any pressure from other people who keep asking why they two live together even if they become married.

 

They were still walking in the park when they reach  a fancy restaurant.

Donghae lead Jessica inside but she insisted not to go in because it looked like the whole restaurant was reserved already.

 

"Oppa, I think the whole area is reserved"

 

"yeah it is"

 

"then why are we here?"

 

"I reserved it"

 

"R-really? You reserved it?"

 

"Yes"

 

"Why oppa?"

 

"Let's just get in, okay?

I'll tell you later"

 

Jessica and Donghae go in the restaurant.

They sat in the middle table where the aura is so romantic.

 

The waiter came and served their dessert.

 

It was Jessica's favorite dessert.

It was a fancy slice of chocolate cake  with cherry on top.

 

Jessica starts to eat when she felt something.

She took it out of the cake and found out it was beautiful ring.

 

Donghae just secretely glances to Jessica to see what's her progress.

He smiled like an idiot knowing that Jessica found out the ring.

 

"O-oppa, what is this"

"A ring, dont you know?"

"What's this for?"

 

Donghae grabbed the ring to jessica's hands.

 

Jessica's heart beats so fast as she saw Donghae stand up to his chair.

He went to her side and  kneeled down.

 

"Sica, will you marry me ?"

"Y-yes oppa"

 

Donghae put the ring in her finger and stand up.

He lean down to kiss Jessica.

 

It was a long kiss.

 

They broke their kiss hugged each other.

Donghae hugged Jessica and he whispered to her

 

"I love you Sica"

 

Sica smile in his chest.

She tiptoe just to reached Donghae's ear but she cant.

Donghae feel what Sica is trying to do so he bent down for Sica.

 

"I love you too oppa"

 

Donghae hugged Sica again.

 

They broke the hug and sit back to their table.

 

"Sica-ah, I think you should wear heels more often, you are so small, you cant even reach my ear even if you tiptoe"

 

"Opppppaaaaa!!!"

 

"I'm just kidding Sica-ah, i dont care how small you are, all I care is just I love you soooooo much"

 

"I love you too cheesy fishy"

 

Jessica and Donghae finished their food and walk to their apartment.

There, they made love to each other, for the first time.

Even though they lived for years together, they haven't done it.

 

-The next morning-

 

It was a normal morning for them.

Jessica woked up early to prepare breakfast.

She is almost finish cooking food when he felt a pair of warm arms in her waist.

Donghae hugged her from behind.

He rested his head into her small shoulder and kissed her cheek.

 

"Goodmorning love"

"Goodmorning too"

 

"Errm someone here is smelly oppa"

"Me? Smelly?"

"Aniyo, Have you brushed your teeth yet?"

"Errm no"

"Oh, then you're smelly"

 

They're teasing each other until they finished they're breakfast.

 

The two prepared for their work.

 

They go to the bus stop while holding hands as usual.

 

TIme to separate.

The two worked in different places.

They are not rich but they can still live well.

 

 

Months passed and they dicovered Jessica was pregnant.

The two already plan to get married after Jessica gave birth to their first child.

 

Jessica was in their house alone.

She requested a month leave because the doctor said she needs to rest because she might gave birth anytime.

One morning, Jessica is preparing Donghae's clothes when she felt her tummy aching.

She shouted Donghae's name.

Donghae call an ambulance to rush her to the hospital.

There, she gave birth to a lovely baby boy.

 

They named it as Soohae.

Jessica want an english name for him so they gave him Jarred.

 

"Jarred Lee Soohae, what a beautiful name"

The nurse told to the lovely couple.

 

When Jessica is in the hospital, giving birth, her sister Krystal was was hitted by a car.

She was seriously hurt that led to her into a coma stage.

 

Her parents doesnt want Jessica and Donghae to know about it because Jessica just gave birth and it might cause stress to her.

Her parents need to borrow money to supply her continues hospital billings.

 

They told Jessica and Donghae about Krystal's condition when it was the third month of their baby.

Her parents' told her that it was the insurance fro Krystal's employer so she never mind.

 

Soohae's first birthday is going on next month, where they also planned to get married.

 

-------The Wedding Day-------

 

Jessica was walking in the aisle.

 

She felt excited because she is getting married to the guy he loved.

Her dad led her to the altar.

But a thing still roams in her mind.

 

Flashback

 

"Sica-ah"

"Neh umma"

 

"I want to tell you something"

"What is it?"

"About Krystal, it wasnt from her insurance, we borrowed a big amount of money"

 

"W-what?"

"Then how can we pay him?"

"I'll tell after you're married"

"Donghae know all about this"

 

End of flashback

 

 

 

Few more steps and she reached the altar.

Her dad gave her hand to Donghae's bestfriend, Jiyong.

 

Jessica was confused.

 

Donghae stared at her eyes.

It was what her mom tries to told her.

This was the payment they need to.

 

"May we start the ceremony"

The priest started to speak up.

 

Jessica's eyes were full of tears. 

He keeps glancing at Donghae who was there, glancing also to her, with his eyes teary.

His gloomy face makes Sica sad.

 

Sica runaway in the ceremony.

The heaven is also crying with her.

It was raining hard.

It was like her heart was sent out in heaven and God let eveyone knew how hurt she is.

Knowing the guy she loved wouldnt end up with her.

 

She was in midst of crying and running.

She ran accross the the road.

 

She didt noticed that a truck is out of control.

She heard Donghae shouting to her then she saw darkness.

 

Donghae saw Jessica hit by the truck.

He got to Sica and lifted her head crying for help.

 

"Sica I love you so much"

 

Ambulances came but it was too late, she already passed away.

 

Sica's body were crimated.

Everyone was really sorry for Jessica.

Everyone is very sad and crying for her sudden death.

 

 

 

 

 

"Appa, dont cry"

Soohae said as he wiped his father's tears.

 

"Soohae-ah, you are crying too"

 

"Appa, why cant it be? why cant be with umma?"

 

"Because it was what God wants

I'm sure you're umma is here, watching us, guiding us and protecting us"

 

Soohae is now 7 years old.

Seven years also after Sica's death.

 

Soohae closed his eyes and prayed

 

"Umma, I know you we're always with us. even though I haven't met you, I really love you

Appa is always telling me stories. And now, he just finished the most beautiful but sad love story ever. Umma, i know you always saw appa crying. This is the first time he cried in front of me. He told me how bad your death is, but umma, dont worry i'll take care of appa. Bye umma, i love you sooo much"

 

Donghae watched his little boy pray.

He always prays whenever he tolds story of him and jessica.

And he promised to Soohae that he will tell this story to his seventh birthday.
