Hello my lovely readers! I'm back with a brand-new story, this time featuring INFINITE's Nam Woohyun and Lee Mihye (OC)!
Life was unpredictable, like a rollercoaster ride, in many many ways.
For Lee Mihye, the ride started when she was at the mere age of ten. Her loving father passed away, and her greedy stepmother, reluctant to share the inheritance with Mihye, sent her far, far away to Incheon.
She was very much alone. She was cold. She was hungry. And to top it off, she was unbelievably exhausted.
It was pure coincidence that Mrs. Nam happened to be passing by right when Mihye collapsed. She took Mihye in and embraced her with loving arms. Oh yes, and Mrs. Nam had a ten year-old son too. He was none other than Nam Woohyun. It took a great deal of effort on Woohyun's part to get Mihye to trust him, but he eventually succeeded and the two became closely-knitted friends. Best friends.
Yet on Mihye's eleventh birthday, she was separated from the Nam family due to a moment of carelessness. Another lady took her in, and that was the end of the relationship between Mihye and Woohyun.
Or so they thought.
What happens when the two meet again in Seoul National University at the age of eighteen? What happens when they don't recognize each other?
What happens if the two, who started off as best friends, meet again as enemies?

LEE MIHYE
Abandoned at the fragile age of ten crushed Mihye's trust in everyone, despite being taken in by the kind Mrs. Nam. She was cold to Woohyun and ignored him to the best of her abilities when she was ten, but he slowly won her over with his sincerity and genuinity.
On her eleventh birthday, however, Woohyun had lost her, and she couldn't find her way back home. She wandered off, all by herself, and was taken in by another kind lady, Mdm. Kang. The years passed with Mihye and Woohyun not seeing each other again. That is, until the year they turned eighteen...
NAM WOOHYUN
You couldn't exactly call Woohyun's life a charmed one either. In fact, it was probably as bad as Mihye's one, littered with misfortunes and bad luck. When he was two, he lost his father to lung cancer, leaving his mother to care for him. He was a bright, bubbly and lovable boy when he was young, and it was this trait of his that warmed Mihye up to him.
Yet on Mihye's eleventh birthday, he had lost her. He had forgotten to pick her up from school, leaving her stranded in the streets of Seoul, unable to find her way back home. The news crushed him. He was devastated, and had been blaming himself for her disappearance ever since.
To make things even worse, he lost his loving mother at the age of seventeen, making him an orphan. That completely changed his personality. From that day onwards, the old Nam Woohyun was gone. Replacing him was a cold, indifferent Woohyun who hated the world and lost trust in everyone. Replacing him was a cold-hearted JERK.
Maybe that was why they disliked each other so immensely when they finally met again at the age of eighteen...
LEE HOWON (HOYA)
Hoya met Mihye much later in her life, when she turned eighteen. They instantly hit it off and became best friends. Yet Hoya wanted to be more than that in Mihye's eyes. He wanted them to be more than friends. He was freaking in love with Mihye.
The question is, did Mihye feel the same way about him?
LEE JIHYE
Lee Jihye was probably the only real friend that Woohyun had. She was the only one who understood him, who could relate to him. Yet like Hoya, she wanted to be more than Woohyun's friend. She was in love with Nam Woohyun.
And did I mention that she was Mihye's stepsister?
