Chanyeol is a clumsy, idiotic and awkward vampire who always messes up everything in some way or another. His coven cannot tolerate him except for his two sole childhood friends- who wouldn’t be frustrated with someone who always screws up their hunts and festivals, be it accidentally or on purpose? He somehow barely gets by (with food and all; he wasn’t as charming as everyone else for some reason) with the help of his two nice friends, Kai and Kyungsoo.

At one point, the coven head, Kris, reached his limit and could no longer stand Chanyeol and his accidental pranks, such as slipping on a banana peel and pulling down his pants and boxers when he was trying to woo his potential human mate. Nevertheless to say, Tao immediately fell for Kris, but Kris was humiliated in front of the other 8 members of his coven who were watching with eagle eyes at some corner of the carefully reserved restaurant they were in, be it waiter or chef.

He was then plagued with whispers of 'he's much bigger than I thought; Kris isn't as wimpy as he looks eh?' or 'look it's dragon Kris' or 'he's still smaller than me /satsified smirk/'. That last one was by a particular annoying Sehun.

He banished Chanyeol for one year to a high school, telling him to go learn to act more ‘humanly’. Out of worry (everyone still dotes on Chanyeol albeit the frustration: after all, he’s an adorable fluffy smiley face that even Luhan, the ‘epitome of manliness’ as he calls himself, cannot resist), he asks Kai and Kyungsoo to accompany him.

Thus, Chanyeol clumsy, idiotic and awkward vampire starts high school.
